Where was Kenny Edwards?

Some players can't get visas for international travel for a range of reasons... perhaps Kenny is in that category, and the club didn't want to draw attention to it?

But still, you'd think it would be less conspicuous to just call it a groin strain injury and have hime rested on the injury list for one week.

Fair call, Bartman, but Aust. citizens don't need a visa to visit NZ. They don't even ask you if you have a record (they let me in all the time). All you have to do is remember not to write ''going to recreate Once Were Warriors" in the 'reason for visiting' field. I guess he might have lost his passport down the back of the lounge.

Yeah, true BO'S. I'd forgotten how "open" the travel route across to NZ and back can be.

But I think Kenny is NZ born and bred, so I don't know if that has an impact on things?

I think Twizzle has kidnapped Edwards and to prevent him being found out. Is using forum regulations to prevent any talk on his whereabouts. .

Technically this is not actually true, as every non citizen of every country requires a 'visa' to visit another country, it is just that some visas are virtually automatic and most things are done behind the scenes.

Yes there is arrangements between NZ and Australia to have free access to each others countries for their citizens, and they are free to work and vice versa. But, the Australian Government (and I'm guessing it is the same in NZ) does not have to grant an entry clearance visa to someone that is not a citizen if it does not want to. It is the reason why Manu Mau wasn't playing with us from the time he signed, because they had to convince the Australian Government to grant him entry clearance.

So they don't need a Visa then?

I believe Ramadan is still going... at least it was on Friday when some colleagues couldn't eat during a work team lunch.

Well, the smart traveller site says that Australians don't need a visa to travel to NZ. And you don't need to acknowledge a criminal record on entering NZ, but you do need to declare whether you've been sentenced to 12 months or more in jail or been deported from any other country. So I guess it's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.
