Potentially our last game of the year. Ricky has been blooding new players in his side, their enthusiasm may get us. We need to win and hope Warriors (v Penrith) and Broncos (v Storm) lose their games to make the semis.

Interesting game really. We could be turning up with nothing to play for if the Broncos beat the Storm. Or if Storm beat the Broncos we could be playing for a spot in the top 8, if Penrith then can beat the Warriors.

If this is going to be our last game for they year then I'd like to finish with a massive high.
Plus hopefully there's the added bonus of beating Ricky Stuart again in his own backyard.

This is a very dangerous game though. We all know we haven't done well away from Parra Stadium on most occasions this year, and Canberra is a place we rarely come back from happy.
Ricky just got his first consecutive victories in half a decade, so he will be desperate to keep that run going.

I would love to have your optimism, we should be a chance to beat them as they (Raiders) were shit last night and beat a team in turmoil. Plus Arthur was f**king pissed in that press conference, I think we will not let what happened yesterday happen again 2 weeks in a row.

Storm should destroy the Broncos but it is the depleted Panthers side I'm worried about, they were good today but like us last week, may have played their big game a week early. Yes I do realise they are in the finals no matter what but they would have wanted a big scalp before heading into the finals.....

The Panthers have essentially been playing with the same team for a few weeks and have been getting up most of the time. If they have to win to make the Top 4 they will be right to win.

I'm not convinced we will beat the Raiders really.

Actually he only made the final because guys fell as well. But that's speed skating. People forget that he helped win our first winter Olympic medal (bronze) in the relay in 1994 Olympics, and was favourite in the 500m individual and a chance in the 1000m but crashed in one and got pushed over in the other.

Missed out in his prime, but got lucky in his later years when he skated a good, smart race

Confident we will win. We haven't put two bad performances together all year, we normally go alright after a flogging. Plus raiders are no where near the team the knights are.

Also, the raiders form aren't that good, they may have won their last two games but it was a struggle for them and tigers/sharks are basically nsw cup sides at the moment with all their injuries/suspensions.

Storm will defeat broncos. Let's hope Penrith can help us out.

Anyhow if we do make the finals, looks like we will be playing storm in Melbourne. The side that has knocked us out of our last three final appearances. Or it could be the cowboys if they defeat manly.
