Recruitment Situation

We are the only team in the NRL to have not signed somebody up yet.

I find this disgraceful on behalf on the recruitment team, mcgregor and especially Doust.

How are we meant to find great forwards and a good hooker when we are leaving our recruitment to the last minute. Do we really want another 5 Matt Groat type signings next year.

If Mary really wants change, he should start very soon, otherwise the only change that will be happening will be him losing his job!

That was bullshit widdop and Thompson were only goodies the rest are reserve graders, we lost better players in the last two years than bought.

And the number one reason I didn't want Mary as coach - he can't and will not be able to attract quality players. Like price we'll end up with fringe first grade players who will struggle.

Welcome to 2014 bud. Players wont come here just to play for the Red V. They want money. They want the chance to play under a decent coaching setup, a chance to win a premiership and be part of success. And they aint getting any of the above here.

We certainly did!!

2 million in salary cap there and lifted us to the dizzying heights of 11th position on the ladder,outstanding.

Saints have assembled one of the best backlines in the comp through good recruitment. Now they need to retain their stars in BMoz and Merrin and then go for the new recruits. Kasiono looks like a rumour that won't go away and Mason.

Mary said in heis press that alot of things need to change with the football club and that Mullholland rumour probably is the start. If you watched the press confress last night BMoz looked uncomfortable talking about his future and did not show alot of confidence that he will re-sign just kept saying that he is contracted till next year which is scary.
