The same could be said for Daniel Anderson.

Applied for the Bulldogs role and Hasler got the gig.

Hasn't coached since 2010.

Same boat as Kearney.
Warren Ryan doesn't have a current coaching job... must've been a shit coach then. :sarcasm:

I didn't realize Kearney got us to a grand final

I think we have been over this only 1,000 times

We made the GF on the back of Jarryd Hayne's individual performances.

I assume you didnt watch the Eels in 2009 to think that this all happened?

Ando has got two teams to NRL Grand Finals and won a shit load of trophies with St Helens, yet apparently has NFI.

With St Helens he won the double crown in 2006 and was awarded ESL coach of the year. Then again in 2007.

In 2007 he won the WCC. Then won the Challenge Cup in 2007 as well.

In 2007 St Helens got to the GF but lost.

HmmOK.

Brian Smith has done more yet still gets a fair bagging from everyone.

Apparently a bloke who has only coached 500 NRL games has no idea also???

Bit late to the party but glad Nabuli is going to get a run, and it's not even for a scum club. Look forward to seeing him play next year.

He couldn't get a run ahead DWZ, Naiqama, Simmons. I think the management just wants to focus on the younger guys. There were a few times this year where we had an injury and a chance to play him but coach always chose others ahead of him.

I believe he said he would resign with us if we offered him a new deal. I guess we didn't.

For that right wing spot we have: Vai Toutai, Fabian Goodall, Bureta Faraimo, Halauafua Lavaka, Eto Nabuli, and possibly Leva Li fighting it out.

What 'more' has Brian Smith acheived as compared to Ando and winning comps?? He stacks up rather poorly in that regard.

Smith is (was?) the master club builder in terms of bringing in talent. But you need to donwhat the Chooks did, hire him for 5, punt him early and hire the blokes you believe can win a comp with the talent Smithy gathered. Good thinker, solid coach, but not a premiership winning coach (wish he had won one, especially with us!!)
