Saints will get someone from the dogs, that's what I got told. We will find out soon.

Don't see it happening at all. I think you will find it will be money much like Barba and the Broncos.

They have no need to give them anyone. It will cause problems within the club. Along with the fact Brett wants out.

You can't get Brett without losing a player on good $$$ and that's what I got told too, anyway it will all be out very soon. Oh that's right you lost she, sorry I forgot.

How do you figure that? They had Fifita signed for 850k yet. Brett is reported on 500k a year? We shall see. Will be surprised if its anything other then cash like they did with Barba.

It seems you know more about the Dragons than the Bulldogs, the Fifita offer was never realistic & that's why it "fell through". Anyway, this is a Dragons forum, so let's keep it on topic.

No, they tried to sign him up for 400k under the cap then illegally promised him 3rd party deals to top up to the 850k figure. Shortly after they reneged they then resigned Graham for the reported 500k figure.

No, Incorrect.

Graham was re-signed already. He re-signed in March.

Fifita was announced in April.

They were attempting to register him for 450k under the cap. NOTHING was illegal. The NRL has CLEARED them of this and the only problem was Andrew gobbing off and wanting more under the cap in which they wouldn't do.

So again. You have your answers previously. Fifita's 850k is there. Heck if you want to go over more Ennis replaced by Lichaa? Not costing more. Inu replaced with Loko? Not costing more. There are a few other fringe players moving on though again will need to be replaced and not leave much extra in doing so. The money is there. Quiet clearly.

It was answering a question.

I am quiet knowledgeable on most teams. I follow the NRL.

The deal fell over because he wanted more under the cap in which they wouldn't do. There is also the fact several board members were unhappy about the signing to begin with.

I agree though this is not topic so let's keep to it.

God, I wish I had your accountant. Of course they were cleared of any wrong doing. Greenberg is Smiths right hand man! The fact remains, Fifita had agreed to terms of 750k initially, and when the actual contract was presented to him, only 400k was under the cap with the top ups to come from 3rd parties. And correction to my last, Graha\m was resigned to a deal worth around 700k, not 500k. I wonder how much cap is tied up in the grubs front row. With Graham on 700k. Klemmer 350k. Add Kasiano, Perrett, Tolman to the mix and on market value it would have to be close to 2mil! Or have they all signed for below "market value", ie. like the Rorters?

On another note, you do relise that these "fringe" 1st graders making up your top 25 do have to be replaced to make up the top 25? But I suppose Lachlan Burr was on a million dollar contract and he will just be replaced by a min wage player...

I posted a few weeks ago Morris was gone if the Dogs agreed to the Dragons terms.
I do not know what those terms were, presume a player swap.
Will check with my man after golf at BP today.

2 players would suffice !
Como you'd hope that fwit would want sumthing out if it,
Is the delay the fact that major sponsors r ropeable
with the fwit and his trying to lessen the blow
by getting some no name player as a swap ?

According to Zero Tackle,
http://www.nospam9/nrl/rugby-league/teams/canterbury-bankstown-bulldogs/
the contracted players value for 2015, that are stated, are;
Graham 700
Klemmer 330
Lichaa 300
Mbye 150
Morris J. 550
Pritchard 550
Williams 600

Total 3.180 million dollars.

They have another 19 players contracted. The salary cap is up to $6.55 million, which averages at $177.368 per player. They have to figure Reynolds, Hodkinson, Jackson and Eastwood in that. Now if you conservatively value those 4 at $300,000 per year ( and I'm sure the real figure is more) then the remaining 15 players have to split $2.170 million at $$114,667 each per year.

And that is before Brett Morris and the Matautis brother are brought into the equation. Also there are still 7 off contract that includes Drury Low and Reni Maitua.

Go figure.
