You lot r the most miserable sods I have come across, we have 5 good signings which will compliment our existing squad, and still carry on like absolute tools....they will wear our colours so get the f**k over it and embrace them as. Parramatta Eels.

Just something you have to get used to on here.

Some people on here will whinge about just about everything the club does, apparently nothing is good enough.
But they are "supporters"

Wow... as much as losing hayne hurts, we run out with a better team in 2015 based on just these signings. Some of you would piss on a leg and tell them its raining if it supports the anguish the loss of hayne has brought to your personal life

Thinking about the Watmough signing, he may be old and he may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but he probably doesn't have the ego that a few in his position do, like Gallen for example. We might have to eat a shit sandwich for a year or two towards the end of his contract but he won't be demanding the ball twice a set and screwing the team on the field. If he's completely busted we can always drop him, without the kind of carry-on we'd get with a Gallen-type, and his last years with us may not be on massive money.

Takaraingi would be the best centre at the club after hoppa so pretty good to get him at this time of the season

Not one other club wanted him.

Actually, one did, but a complete management overhaul saw them renege.

And he is by far one of the better signings.

We are truly a basket case.

How did we not sign watmough for 8 or 10?

f**k me dead.

I have no issue with the Watmough signing, just the 4 years.............2 years too long

The others - meh........sounds like the Kearney fiasco again where he signed Chris Walker, Paul Whaturia, Chris Hicks etc........

It's quite different to the 'Kearney fiasco'. As well as signing Takairangi (who is much better than any of the players you refer to), Champion and the other chaps, we started by re-signing players with real potential like Edwards, Mau, Moeroa, Radradra, etc.

Every club signs some players of the Tak, Champion, Nelson ilk.

It's not all doom and gloom. Apart from Hayne we didn't really lose anyone good. Richie and Wicks are good signings IMO. Takawhatsy should be OK, and even Robinson ain't bad. Considering the coin they're all likely on I think we've done pretty well. Watmough is what we need right now, even if the contract is too long. We can worry about how busted he is in 2018, if that eventuates. Oh, and we already had Sepha, so I guess that's a push.
