For a million a season there's absolutely no way we'd be able to sign both Foran and Sandow. Foran will want close to a million, if not right on a million himself. And depending on how he performs early on next season Sandow's next contract could be worth $750k. Plus I think Ryan Matterson will be ready for first grade in 2016 with a regular starting spot opening up for him in 2017. So for mine it's either Foran, DCE, or Sandow and not 2/3.

Do you honestly see another team paying over 500k for Sandow in the NRL? I can't, most clubs either have a young bloke coming through or a decent option already

Sandow will probably take around what he's currently on if he wants to stay

Matterson will be a lock in the future have a look at the size of him. He's getting bigger

Sandow's form is improving and it looks like we'll make the finals Sandow will be wanting more money, plus there are a few clubs that could really do with his services, for example the Titans could do with an experienced half now that outside of Aiden Sezer they don't have a first grade worthy half. Canberra could also use the services of Sandow.

Yeah he's big but he doesn't have the hard running game you want from a lock imo. His running game is quality>quantity. Plus if you play him in the middle you lose his long passing game which was pretty darn good this season which saw him put Fabian Goodall away earlier on in the season when he was playing wing. Plus we already have enough forwards coming through in Josh Aloiai, TTS, Kamicamica, Twal. Then we also have Pauli, Jnr P, Mannah who could be here for a while yet. There's absolutely no need for us to play him at lock where imo he'll be wasted.

Given his last contract was supposedly worth $550k I could see Sandow receiving at least $650-700k, don't forget the salary cap has increased significantly since the last time Sandow signed with us.

The Dogs could also be looking at Sandow, Hodkinson comes off-contract at the end of next year too and Sandow has a superior attacking game to Trent.

Yes. The top players in the game will all be on $1M+ next year. Sandow will be worth up to three quarters of a million. He has the best long kicking game in the comp plus he has a great running game.

The biggest thing keeping Sandow's price down is his attitude, and the risk of going off the rails again.

Sandow just needs a decent foil as his halves partner on the other side of play to be a very decent pick-up for any club. When Sutton was his five-eighth, he absolutely killed it that year at Souths.

We haven't had that style of halves partner to compliment Sandow's style and allow is strengths to truly shine. Norman is not that player. If both are off contract at the end of the season, who would you rather keep in first grade alongside a quality new halvs recruit? For mine it would probably be Sandow, and Norman on a reduced contract only for depth.

So dogs wont have to pay clemmer finucane or Josh Jackson more? Also hogksinson was signed for 275-Im sure he will demand closer to 500.

Out of the off-contract Bulldogs next year they may only re-sign Kasiano (If Dragons don't pay too much). They could re-sign Hodkinson, but I think he'd cost just as much as Sandow, he's now played the Dogs to a GF and he's become a S.O.O winning halfback. He'd probably cost around $800k per season. Dogs don't need a halfback like him though. If they had Sandow he would absolutely destroy teams off the back of the go-forward they generate.

Good news on Pauli -Thanks guys.....

Looking at the knights- James Mcmanus looks surplus. Who would be open to signing him for the vacant wing spot? I think it would be a decent option for a year contract.
