They cant keep both but then again why would one stay without the other?
That's an interesting point...

If I'm Foran... I'd have a serious look at who my likely halves partner will be....

He's pretty tight with 3 of the options... DCE at Manly, Mitch Pearce at the Roosters and Shaun Johnson st the Warriors... He's also pretty familiar already with Tent Hodkinson at the Bulldogs...

Given all the other options... I just don't know if I would be that keen on linking up with Chris Sandow or an Eels rookie.... And I'm an Eels fan...

Most like scenario is DCE and Foran gone with Sezer coming to Manly. Sezer is alright but not even close to DCE and Foran.

Manly in big trouble. They need to convince DCE and Foran to stay for the rest of this decade. Without them there they've got a Cronullaesque future.
Nah we'll be fine, always have been.

Makes sense, but that has no place on the rumours thread.

Foran -> Chelsea in the EPL. Bunnies man told me.

You have no f*cking clue.

You put rubbish paper reports all together and then believe the combined total to equal what your tiny brain wishes would happen.

Manly have had players come and go. We always bounce back.

We lose both then we have a truckload to buy up. Unlike Souffs we have a culture of success.

Both going is the least likely scenario.

Manly on the offensive now quashing the rubbish being spun to create doubt. Will be an interesting fortnight....

You'd think NZ would be the likely place if he leaves

What do you think will happen and if lets say they keep one of the two which would you prefer?

I know the Warriors are real keen on him... And they can probably offer him more than
most.

But the vibe I get from him says he's not really interested in coming back to Auckland with his young family.

That's the issue, it would be a huge move for a bloke with a young kid and to move countries to boot is a big ask. Geez Foran/SJ would be a handy combo though.

I think one stays one goes.

I believe DCE will re-sign and Foran will leave. Would obviously prefer that both stay though.

Have thought alot about which one I'd rather keep if we only have one, and it would be DCE. I think he offers much more variation and scope.

Foran is a fantastic player but of the two I think his style is easier to try and replace than DCE.

Do you think Littlejohn will be given first crack if one leaves? Or will they make a play for someone like Maloney?

I think both will stay at Manly - I mean $3.3mill each over 3 years, why move?

Because they can get that or more elsewhere and the grass is always greener. Not saying either will actually leave but they will surely consider other offers, it could simply be that one of them wants a new challenge at a different club, and its not like Manly has been the perfect club the last few years, in-fighting amongst management, big disconnect between management and the playing group, rifts between players, a dramatic coaching change after a premiership...there are plenty reasons one of them MIGHT leave.

True but no guarantee another club won't have that. Afterall players will need to go to pay for them rarely does that end well

Wont have what? Dramas? Of course another club could have them, thats where "the grass is always greener" comes in. DCE and Foran will get presented the absolute best, most optimistic picture of each club trying to sign them. They wont really know about any problems at the club until they arrive there, if they do.

The last two premierships have been won by teams who imported there best players, anyway players have already had to go from Manly just for them to have a chance at re-signing both these boys.

One will go

I heard DCE will or has been offered $1.3m a year by manly, pretty much means they are not going to retain Foran, because they cant afford 2 players on 2 million combined a year.
So Foran Parra looks likely, maybe Foran roosters but Parra would be my bet.

I think they will look outside. He has been OK in his few first grade games but they want a premiership winner. I see Littlejohn in much the same light as say Jeff Robson. A solid toiler but not who I want when a prelim final is on the line.

Interesting times ahead. Could be some real musical chairs once a decision is made....

I think there are alot of player movements just waiting on what these two do and I don't think it's going to be over for atleast another month or two.

what is certain imo is that neither DCE or foran will leave sydney. they've both cited on numerous occasions that their families are set in sydney so unless the titans and warriors are talking 1.5m per season contracts they're just being used as negotiation tools.

i think one of them will end up staying. i'd have the chooks as the favourites for foran IF the chooks run the marker through james maloney but i don't think they're prepared to do that.
