DCE To Move To Titans This Season?
Reports Manly superstar Daly Cherry-Evans could move to Titans this season

Triple M's Matty Johns believes Daly Cherry-Evans may play his next NRL game at the Titans, having signed a multi-million dollar deal with the struggling club.

"He's been under a lot of heat over the last 12 months from teammates [at Manly]. The fact that he's signed on the Gold Coast is not going to make life any easier. It's gonna get pretty rugged," said Matty Johns, on Triple M Sydney's Grill Team.

Matty Johns says Manly's number one priority is to keep Cherry-Evan's halves partner, Kieran Foran. The Kiwi international has received offers from rival clubs including Parramatta.

"Foran is a 'must' for Manly. They can still keep Kieran Foran but they've got to come up with a monumental offer and I think part of that may have to be that Daly Cherry-Evans, they find a way to get him to the Gold Coast."

Titans stars Dave Taylor and Greg Bird will face court today over the cocaine scandal that rocked the Gold Coast. (Update: Greg Bird has pled not guilty to two counts of supplying cocaine.)

"It is my gut feel that by close of today one of the contracts [involving Greg Bird and Dave Taylor] is torn up and there is room free on the salary cap at the Gold Coast Titans. I reckon Daly Cherry-Evans will play his next game as a Titan."

There are reports Kieran Foran will sign with Parramatta this week, however the NRL states he can sign with the Eels and he has until Round 13 to change his mind and stay at Manly. Listen to the full audio below.

Johns talks more shit than Rothfield.

DCE moving to tits this season is a good chance i reckon, in their favour is that aiden sezer is keen to move to sydney and would probably open to a being swapped if he got an upgrade on his new contract. it would come down to how much the tits were willing to let go, they are talking about keeping sezer at the same time.

only thing is, is there anyone Titans would be willing to let go for Manly to be happy to let DCE go. Sezer obviously comes to mind but i can't see Titans wanting to let him go easily as id imagine the plan is to have 6. Sezer 7. DCE up on the coast.

the tits have a bloke in backup called kane elgey who's torn up the intrust supercup/toyota cup, it would make much more sense for them to have dce and kane in the halves and let sezer go. sezer would be of higher value when it comes to a swap deal and making it all work in the salary cap, unless manly go pyscho in overvaluing elgey who they rate also

If the Sea Eagles can nab Elgey, and keep Foran by front-loading his contract this year by releasing DCE; then they should seriously consider that option.

I think 2015 is going to be a write off for them anyway.

A 1, 6, 7 of Trobojevic, Foran and Elgey going forward doesn't look too bad at all.

You'd think Elgey will be out of there given he's a halfback who will now wait in reserve grade for 4 years.

Seems like the natural progression of things.

One sticking point though....he has the same parasitic manager as DCE and he would have what you'd call a frosty relationship with Manly at present....

Ironically they need to get their forwards sorted. They've been romped by the Roosters and Eels.

Souths would have to ditch some serious talent to get him. The NRL should not get involved in bringing him back to Souths.

Triple m announces that burges is keen to come back...

I assume this is putting together 2 and 2 and getting 5. That combined with Matty Johns propensity to get NOTHING right.

In other words, he isn't playing that well at the moment = he wants to return to League.

It's two premature surely, he has played what 10 games or something?

Also izzy is keen to come back

I have now doubt that post the RWC he will either come back to League or go overseas Union.

There is no way a guy who is as competitive as he is will be happy to hang around with the shambles that is the Wallabies knowing he has no chance to win anything.
