https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-n6Nb6mEtbk momentum, really? Isaac was running forwards and then Williams flips him backwards, where's the momentum in that? De Gois lands on the top of his head and if it wasn't for the strength of Williams flipping him all the way over he could have crumbled on the top of his head, De Gois could have been severely injured.

Well, I remembered it differently to how it actually was. In fact it was more similar to Paulo's tackle than I remember. Both De Gois and Ballin got into very awkward positions and either could have ended very badly. The spinning motion in both tackles made them more dangerous than a lot of dangerous throws. As we saw last year, it doesn't take a lot for a tackle to end in disaster and the rolling motion at the time of impact is probably a significant factor in risk.

Expected nothing less from the worst administration in the country. They are just lucky they have the best product, otherwise they wouldn't even exist.

It goes down as the most severe suspension in the history of the NRL
FFS seriously Mclean got what 12 weeks for putting someone in a wheelchair. Sorry to bring that up but 9 weeks for that is a joke in a 26 week competition. He will be sorely missed. Our main go forward prop

Our main go forward prop

Round one:

Mannah 42 mins 13 runs 116 metres 4 tackle breaks 2 offloads

Paulo 35 mins 8 runs 68 metres 2 tackle breaks 1 offload

Not a real big sample, and also doesn't show the way Paulo is used out wide near the opposition line, but it does show Mannah is still our main go forward prop.

Junior would have got better with more match fitness. Junior worries defences and Manah does not

Go forward isn't about 'worrying defences'. It's about running at a set defensive line and moving it backwards. If you want to 'worry defences' get out wide where there is some space, or hit some short inside passes where you might find an isolated defender. Both things that Paulo does.

What a joke. :x How can you get 9 weeks for that ?

Lets see the next dangerous tackle and I wonder if that player will get 9 weeks.
