De Gois lands on the top of his head and if it wasn't for the strength of Williams flipping him all the way over he could have crumbled on the top of his head, De Gois could have been severely injured.
Well, I remembered it differently to how it actually was. In fact it was more similar to Paulo's tackle than I remember. Both De Gois and Ballin got into very awkward positions and either could have ended very badly. The spinning motion in both tackles made them more dangerous than a lot of dangerous throws. As we saw last year, it doesn't take a lot for a tackle to end in disaster and the rolling motion at the time of impact is probably a significant factor in risk.
