Not sure why Hurrell gets in?

Coach will be loyal, so Kenny Dowall is a cert imo... don't see JWH being close for similar reasons

Taupau would have to be in there somewhere.
Nightingale and Eastwood very unlucky
Alex Glenn back up as well

SKD or Hurrell. If the coach is going to be loyal he will pick SKD. If he goes on you know, talent, he'll choose Hurrell.

I see no reason to not pretty much just pick the four nations winning 17, with perhaps 2 exceptions.

Ben Matulino gets in somewhere (okay let's be honest- for Blair) if he continues his fantastic form.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck replaces Peta Hiku at fullback. I'm in two minds over this one though - Hiku was a bit of a handbrake in our attack in the 4N (good running game though), but I'd like to be loyal to the guy who made himself available rather than had a rest.

So thats:

Hiku/Tuivasa-Sheck
Nightingale
Whare
Kenny-Dowall
Vatuvei
Foran
Johnson
Bromwich
Luke
Matulino
Mannering
Proctor
Taumalolo

Brown (wouldn't object to TL here either if he performs like last week)
Taupau
Eastwood
Harris

Pretty much nailed on.

Minimal changes from 4N for mine. Matulino for Blair is a no-brainer, but that's about it. Would use TL if his form continues.

I'm fine if with RTS "having a rest" in the 4N, considering the way he was set up for failure in the World Cup final. If he wants back in the team management should gratefully accept him as their first choice FB.

 Like it matters if he's a Kiwi these days. Sadly if he's eligible according to the Micky Mouse rules we'll pick him at some point.

1. RTS
2. Hiku
3. Hurrell
4. Whare
5. Vatuvei
6. Foran
7. Johnson
8. Bromwich
9. Luke
10. Moa*
11. Mannering
12. Proctor*
13. Taumalolo

14. Taupau
15. Harris
16. Matulino
17. Mau/Brown depending if they want another power forward or brief hooker cover.

Put an * by the two who I went with more based on previous efforts rather than early season form as I haven't been impressed by either so far TBH.

Hurrel should be no where near a kiwi kumper at the moment IMO. Three weeks injured, and showed sod all when he was out there week one. Whare is a given, and I would more likely choose SKD on current form.

Agreed

Fullback - Peta Hiku
Wings - R Tuivasa-Sheck, M Vatuvei
Centres - D Whare, Bryson Goodwin
Halfbacks - S Johnson, K Foran
Front-rowers - Jesse Bromwich, S Moa
Acting-halfback - Isaac Luke
Back-rowers - S Mannering, K Proctor, J Taumalolo

Interchange - L Brown, M Taupau, B Matulino, G Eastwood

Really don't want to leave Tohu Harris out but G Eastwood seems to be so effective, always seems to break the line at important times.
