sadly the hype that this is Walkers last movie will have people raving about this movie. This franchise should've stopped before Tokyo Drift

I wasn't a fan of the 2nd, 3rd or 4th...but I found the last two to be a lot of fun.
Adding Dwayne Johnson helped.

So in other words they should've made 2? Everyone who's fan of this franchise has stated that number 2 is the worst one of the lot... so how an ever-improving franchise should've stopped according to you is something I would find hard to justify. But please... do try.

Agreed. The franchise seemed like it was losing puff and aggression with Torreto always being the power house. Having DJ in there added more action and interest in it that wasn't centered around Vin Diesels character.

I didn't mind 2, I loved 3 (only because of my interest in Japanese culture), I think 4 was over-hyped. Absolutely loved 5 - my favorite after the original. The Hobbs/Torreto fight scene was epic. 6 was good but not as good as 5.

This one will have a lot of emotion mixed in with it I say.

I think they've finally come to the realisation that these movies are ridiculous, and so they just play on that. They don't take themselves too seriously anymore, which is what they were doing before they got to the 5th one.

Imo, way more entertaining than the Expendables or Transformers movies.

Expendables is more of a comedy with all the smart-ass quotes, and Transformers is modern cinema over-stuffed with special effects. Sure the F&F Franchise has them too, but the franchise has shifted into the story more than the driving.

Um, the first movie easily had the most cohesive story and was an appropriation of Point Break at best.

2,3 and 4 are all pretty rubbish but an inoffensive way to kill time.

5 & 6 are just overblown pop corn flicks which are highly enjoyable.

The CGI though in the more recent films is terrible, they need to use stunt drivers in re-skinned Camry's.

This!
I love it when they use real stunt cars and drivers. It's why I enjoyed Need for Speed.

They used real stunt cars in 2F2F - they made 1 special car which was the model, and about 3 cars which were to be driven and used in all the stunt scenes and cop all the abuse.

I preferred the first 2 movies and Tokyo Drift as the focus was more on the cars and driving.

The others I just see as very enjoyable action flicks, which isn't a bad thing I guess. Some change was probably needed after all the movies they've made.

Am I the only man alive who straight out dislikes "Fast and the Furious"? I've seen the 1st and 4th movie and straight out disliked them. Yet, I love action movies in general.
