And now Nighty for NZ.
Looks like more could come as blokes pull out with injury.. I reckon although our blokes could use a week off, this would be rly exciting for such underrated players, and give them a real confidence boost.

Confirmed? Says DWZ is in doubt.
Either way, It's a f**king disgrace that Flo wasn't named in the first place. Does Kearney really believe Hiku, DWZ and SKD (Beast and RTS add value) are all ahead of Nightingale?? Tell the merkin he's dream'n!

Dwz charges by ref's, and Penrith unlikely to challenge his 1 week ban.. So flo the likely replacement..

Tell you what.. Most of our squad is involved now.. A busy weekend of sport!

Bit confused by Fritz too, as a Welshman, I thought he was ineligible for the blues, and hence city/country?

To join the likes of Thorne, Hayne, Uate, Lote, McManus etc.
Its always been a mess, but glad to see him getting a run on the weekend. Blow out some cobwebs after the past fortnight. Should be primed for souffs.

Wales is a second tier rugby nation. So a player can represent a second tier nation if he has some heritage but is eligible to play for the nation where he played his first class footy. Same way as Mini was allowed to play for italy when he wouldn't get picked for Australia anymore and the Sims brothers for Fiji. They could all play for Australia if they were good enough.

How interesting.. did Mini go Italy > Australia > Italy? Seems a bit unpatriotic, but from a practical perspective its spot on.. keeps the game stronger, and gives NRL players a stronger pathway.. means we have another potential rep player though on our hands, few of these blokes are gonna jump up in value shortly.

You're confused because his name is Frizell, or 'Friz' for short...
Haha no he will always be Fritz to me.

Great to see players rewarded for their hard work, hope there are no injuries.
Just a question, where does this leave us with the salary cap for players who have a clause in their contracts for upgrades when/if they play rep footy?

Thought Thommo was close to the best edge forward of the game today. Friz took a while to warm into the match, but played well in the last 20. And Rein outplayed the other hookers imo as well.
All in all, our lads had a good dig, very happy for them :)

I actually think rein is playing better than farah at present.
I know loyalty goes a long way, but ask most tigers fans, even they don't think fatah going well this year.

Typical class shown by Flo. And to think Kearney didn't pick him straight up...
Duges is having a forgettable debut thus far. Not much Mez can do with the Kiwi's killing it through the middle atm.
