More likely he'd mature and learn his place while finishing his apprenticeship in NSW cup ;-). Gould could get him CvC jersey no doubt, Barrett is employed at Penrith and Fittler and Gould have always been thick as thieves, so that's both coaches under the thumb.

May looks like a good player no doubt but so did Seijka, Evans etc I've liked the footy I've seen from Hastings so far and I would like to see him at the club, his attitude I have no idea about but he is hardly the first young gun with an ego.

I was told by a mate that his old man whinged on facebook saying he is only following the Roosters for his son even though I played 228 games for them and saying how the Roosters chased his son etc etc. I think they thought Hastings was going to be the hooker while Friend was still injured, instead the Roosters signed McIlwrick and played him

Hastings seemingly loves the club, he is always posting on social media about it and his father's a club legend regardless of how he feels now.

And how much money do you think the roosters should have spare under the cap to outbid Eels or anyone else? They could only reportedly offer RTS 400k, so 400k would you would think be their limit, but then talk was SKD was not going to be signed to a new deal, and only got one when RTS signed for the warriors, they also have a few off contract right now including Maloney and Ferguson who they are trying to sign. So yeah can't see the Roosters having much spare coin for Johnston

I have heard they have offered $580k for Johnston and souths can only offer $350k at the moment.

He's only played 4 games at NRL level but he is adjusting well. Has killed it our last 2 games, and was killing it in qld cup until Henry had to make the call up since Mortimer got injured. Got player of the year in U20s last year in a losing team too. Kid will be a special player if he stays healthy.

Many upset Titans fans on their forum after hearing this news. I am just absolutely gutted. Our junior development is a sham.
