Is Hastings ready for the 6 if Maloney goes? Could it be a case of the Roosters deciding it's one or the other?

He's only played 4 games at NRL level but he is adjusting well. Has killed it our last 2 games, and was killing it in qld cup until Henry had to make the call up since Mortimer got injured. Got player of the year in U20s last year in a losing team too. Kid will be a special player if he stays healthy.

Many upset Titans fans on their forum after hearing this news. I am just absolutely gutted. Our junior development is a sham.

Happy to hear, doubt you guys will be down for too long with DCE on the way.

Hopefully we can go pear him with an experienced 5/8, someone like Maloney would be a treat.

I have heard they have offered $580k for Johnston and souths can only offer $350k at the moment.

Wow. I hope they saw his game at fullback yesterday then. There is absolutely no way he is worth 580k at this stage of his career. Not even 350k. There is no doubt AJ is a talented but he needs to ply his trade for another year on no more than 200-250k max before getting the big bucks mentioned above.

Agreed but half the players arent worth whats being paid at the moment ,some crazy money being thrown around this year.Im still trying to work how penrith could afford Myles and Merrin and keep all their gun young players.

Although DCE is obviously top shelf, you could argue that sezer and elegy are a better combo then DCE and Mortimer
