 Well in Drew.

He's worse than a bunch of other forwards, and locks especially, but in terms of a pure prop he's one of the best.

Looking for his rating to be pulled into line with the ASRL at 9/6. I know they're different comps, but Padds is just about the definitive ESL guru as those who coach over there know.

2015 stats

13 games
1956 metres (Outright number 1 in ESL, for any position...300m more than Jamie Peacock, the next best prop who is a 9. Well in ASRL anyway)
150m per game (Highest of any ESL forward)
55 tackle busts (3rd in ESL, highest forward, nearest prop is ranked 29th with 31 tackle busts)
28 tackles a game
32 offloads
2 line breaks

The one failing of the ESL site is that it doesn't differentiate hit ups (any touch is a carry) and therefore no longer lists average metres gained for forwards in the drilled down stats...but it's pretty clear he's far and away the best prop in England this season.

Thomas Leuluia - Currently a halfback rated 85756

Looking for a positional change to hooker. And a rating of 87867

Always picked in the world's best International team.
Starter at Warriors over Nathan Friend. Who makes less tackles (9def)
Crafty in attack whether he is at 9 or half.
Solid in defense, put a few of the Aussie boys on their asses. Averages around 28 a game from memory, doesn't miss many.
Accurate field kicker. Doesn't give away many penalties or make dumb decisions. Quality service from dummy half.

I reckon he's an 8/8, stats probably say a 7/8.8-9. Either way a very classy player who's underrated at present.

Attack-wise he's far more threatening than most of the 8-rated second rowers from the SL, who are mainly rated off stats and workrate. Runs some superb lines and a lot of the time he ends up in space or with a quick play the ball. If there was a "great run leads to try a tackle or two later" stat, this bloke would top it. Alas there isn't, so I'll give you what we do have -

86m per game
31 tackle busts (~3 a game), pretty good for a forward.
7 clean breaks
16 offloads

Average of 36 tackles a game, at 96% efficiency (i.e. about 1.5 tackles missed a game). His raw tackle count of 401 is 5th in the league, behind three 9s (Roby, Ward and Houghton I assume is a 9, if not should be), and that efficiency is pretty darn good.

He's been moved to starting at lock quite a bit this season, which would have hurt his attack and improved his defence playing in the middle of the park - hence my suggestion of an 8/8.

Thoughts?

TBH I'm not sure. Haven't seen him. Stats say 8/8 due to his tackle busts. Does anyone else have an opinion?

David Klemmer
Currently: 6/6
Requesting: 8/6

Comparing David's statistics to similar players using Total Footy Stats, I'm comparing him to Running Metres per Game (most relevant stat for this position);

David Klemmer 118.2
Mitchell Dodds 31.2
Edward Pettybourne 99.29
Jared Waerea-Hargreaves 88.43
Martin Taupau 110.12
Kade Snowden 112.75
Matthew Scott* 138.38
Robbie Rochow 100
Dylan Napa 102.25
Sam Moa 72.57
Josh McGuire 111.5
Jeremy Latimore 94.88
James Graham 134
Keith Galloway 122
Tyson Frizell 95.83
Andrew Fifita 149.5
Luke Burgess* 75.12
George Burgess 131

Only Matthew Scott, James Graham, Keith Galloway, Andrew Fifita and George Burgess beat him. Not bad for a bench player!

8/6 for Townsend and Klemmer seem fair.

8/5 for Naiqama. Guy is a ghost in defense. Family trait.

Shaun, you're probably going to need some stats to back that up. I don't know shit about the guy

Whats the best site for stats?
I can only find like top 10 etc which doesn't really help for impact players

I'd like Benny Matulinos attack increased from an 8 to a 9

He is currently:
6th most metres in the NRL (4th Forward)
Has the highest offload count in the NRL
is the 6th highest for hit ups/runs

If Dave Taylor is a 9 in attack, surely Matulino is too.
