We are finding ways to win, which is much better than finding ways to lose like last year.

Can't help but feel we need to improve some aspects of our game. In particular our line speed is terrible. Panthers made metres at will. We need to play like we did against the Roosters.

You've got a good side, I haven't got any complaints about tonights result, although it could have gone the other way.

I'm confident after tonights game the Panthers will be in there when the whips are cracking, and maybe we'll meet again.

We would've struggled to contain the Panthers tonight if they had Segeyaro but mind you, the McCullough/Hunt/Milford/Boyd combo will go from strength to strength.... Milford is again showing steps in the right direction. A bit of pressure off Hunt's long kicking game would be a nice addition.

According to the pressers, the referees ruled that Moylan took it dead and the refs didn't think it touched Blake on the way through.

It's an odd rule but has occurred in the past.

On the replay the referee was standing on the dead ball line watching him very carefully so it makes sense that is what he was pinged for.

Well that's confusing.

I feel like that's the opposite of a call we received against the Warriors.. unless its actually exactly the same call.

In the dying minutes I was thinking maybe Boyds gonna be a bad omen for us. Not that he played bad last night, nothing flash but safe and solid and committed enough. Great to see Oates go over and win us the match. The guys getting more consistent and good to see someone of size be a bit of a handful for the opposition. Downside besides getting steam rolled up the middle all night was Hunts woeful kicking game and not just that attempted field goal. Kahu made a few early blunders but got his act together. Work horse McGuire played great and made inroads every time he had the ball. Reed played and defended well but I'm still more keen on Copley. Great also to have Nikorima on the bench. He's always ups the ante.

Friggin' nail biter this one. Think our defence of our own line ultimately won us the match making them go for 2 points off penalties all the time. I know we've played with that strategy lately but you have to at least one try in the bank. You're not usually going to win a match just off penalty goals.

Does Jack reed know how to pass the ball. 30 minutes gone and he has already died with it 4 times.

you defend maranta then hang shit on a player twice as good.
reed got caught in possession but usually after running 20 metres
he passed the ball to maranta and gave him an opportunity to win the match
maranta wasn't good enough so stopped
reed was in our top 3 players last night

Chump, that's because he was so used to him not passing it. only time he passed it and there was no where to go.
