i know this will more than likely end up being thrown in to the Warriors sub forum but I thought it deserved league wide acknowledgement.

Congratulations to the Warriors today for having its first current NSW representative(Hoffman)

This is a significant moment for the club because with Jacob Lillyman being named for Queensland this is the first time they have had origin representatives for both states in the same series.

For a club that has often struggled to gain acceptance from rep selectors to consider its players this is a great moment for the club.

Its taken 20 Years but better late than never...

Interstate forum, Warriors forum....anyway well done. Hoffman should consider sitting out though, two bad knockouts in a couple weeks would worry me. Also he will be easier to knock out again which could leave NSW short a man on the bench.

Congrats to the Warriors for buying a current NSW representative and many people's pick for the man of the series last year.

Congrats to NSW for picking a guy who has been knocked out twice the past 3 weeks. Lol @ player safety

Australian posters wouldn't have a clue as they still think we play jungle ball off the back of our monstrous forwards (even though our pack is one of the smallest in the comp) but a NSW rep on our books is massive for us, especially one who was player of the series in the first winning side in 9 years.

For years no fringe Origin player would touch us, and any Origin player would have trepidation that they wouldn't be seen over here.

Hopefully it can also dispel the boring old cliché that the Warriors get to rape and pillage everyone during the Origin period too. Although we do dry hump the Broncos every year which I think everyone enjoys

Yeah well the Roosters got all the credit when James Maloney debut for NSW barely 6 months after leaving the Warriors who were the ones that picked him up as a well travelled lower grader at Storm and developed him in to a rep player.

I didn't think NZ fans cared about Origin, because international footy is somehow bigger than SOO now?

New Zealanders generally have gone for QLD in the past on account of Graham Lowe. However, these days, we generally don't care on account of Meninga/Papalii/Te'o/Tamou.
