I like Gerard Sutton as a referee. Overall he does a good job.

As for Cummins I can't stand him, he's such a smart arse and that smirk on his face is so annoying.

Adam Devcich is another one I don't like, he's hopeless.

What about when Perenara forgot how to blow the whistle the other week that was funny:lol::lol:

He said something like "oh sorry boys the whistle was" ......... I forgot the rest of what he said.

There's a difference between being inept and disproportionately influencing the outcome of a game . . . Cummins is insidious

So which one is it? The refs will decide the outcome or Qld will win easily?

These two clowns will definitely influence the outcome of the game and the final score.
Qld should win and win easy, even if they receive a bad call.

These days Referees are coaching the players what to do and not do on the field.

Example of what you hear them say: "Get of him Tom, get back the ten, Smith you are offside don't tackle him"

If they are going to coach the players they might as well put the whistle away.
We have enough trainers on the field coaching. We don't need the referees doing the same.

HEY REFEREES... do you job properly.
If they are committing an infringement of the NRL rules PENALIZE THEM FFS !!!!!!!
If you want to coach the players then you are cheating and not doing your job properly.

Well I don't want to see 40 penalties a game.

I can't criticise the refs for warning players.

If a player infringes and it's something very minor, if they do it 2-3 times then penalise them.

Most Rugby League supporters don't want to watch penaltyathons!!!

Hey Rabbits20. I totally agree no one wants to watch a game of just penalties .
But it appears you have watched too many Souths games and you have got use to the constant warning to both teams, for holding down player, offside inside the 10, illegal play.

This is why the masters of cheating: teams like the bunnies, chooks, storm, dogs, manly, constantly infringed the laws of the game when they know that they will only receive a warning and then penalty then back to warnings and more coaching from these incompetent Referees .

The master manipulating teams are deliberately BENDING the rules until the referee gives up on coaching them, then penalizes this cheating teams again and the coaching cycle starts again.

These days the game looks like it is all staged and choreograph by the Referees.
Watch tonight game and you will see everything I have mentioned.

They coach all teams and give warnings.

I don't just watch Souths games I watch other games too involving other teams every weekend.

I will be at tonight's match too.

Souths actually don't come inside the 10m a lot. It's our opposition that does to try and stop our pack. The ref coaches them on it. For example Parra were offside a lot when Souths played them in Round 11 but the ref would keep coaching Parra and only blow a penalty on the third or fourth time they continued to do it. I was ok with that.

Your team just got shafted by checcin and his other cheating clown.
Tigers were coached all night by cheating checcin....are you still ok with that?
Refrees could and SHOULD have penalized the tigers at least 6 times i counted....but noooo just give the tigers a chance to win the game

Souths deserved it though they were terrible.

Last week Souths got calls when Warriors played shit.

It all evens out in the end.

If it was a close game and it affected the result of course I'd be pissed off. Cecchin gave Storm 8 penalties and Souths got 3 when we played a few weeks ago in Melbourne. Souths could have won that so of course I was pissed off that night.

Also at Shark Park earlier this year Souths got every single call against them pretty much and lost the penalties 7-1 which clearly affected the outcome of the game. It was that moron Cummins.

Also that other ref with Cecchin in tonight's match Grant Atkins he hates Souths and always gives call against us which have cost us in tight games so that's nothing new. If Grant Atkins ever gives Souths a call I'd probably fall over in shock!

Anyway enough of my rant as it all evens out.

I'm just trying to say that Souths don't always get the calls and it balances to 50/50.

The refs are incompetent every week so I fully agree with you. That's why some people don't want to go to games.

Also congrats on the way St George have been playing.

Maxwell is the worst, especially at Brookvale. He just turns to water whenever the crowd boos.

Devcich is easily the worst. The bloke guesses almost every try that he sends to the video ref and sounds half geniused whilst doing it....not to mention that most times, he guesses wrong!

That's not his fault, it's a geniused rule the ref shouldn't have to say try or no try, if they were sure in the first place they'd point to the spot.

Video ref shouldn't be influenced in either way

Obviously you can't remember the 'benefit of the doubt system'. Remember when video refs couldn't make a decision so they'd use the benefit of the doubt as a cop out and just award a try. So many tries were given when there was a knock-on or the ball was held up, but because the ref couldn't be a hundred percent sure the try had to be given. The try/no try system at least makes the on field refs make a call, and the video ref has to have undisputed evidently to overturn the decision. It's not perfect, and the odd mistake is made, but it's a millions times better then the 'we're not sure let's just award a try' that used to happen under the benefit of the doubt system
