I was thinking before tonight's game that it might be good for us to lose and Pearce to play badly so that we could finally get rid of him.

Then I realised that's what's happened every other year and we didn't get rid of him.

The jersey is his as long as Daley is coach, and depending on who is the next coach, possibly for life.
