Available attacking coaches?

Maybe Saints should look abroad in the UK for an assistant coach. Maguire and Robinson have been pretty good appointments from the UK. Oh that's where Millward came from. There was one dud coach and Saints found him.

Andrew McFadden or Justin Morgan wiuld be good options.

Honestly, we shouldn't have flicked Justin Holbrook...

JT? don't think he is going anywhere, the board has to back him over Farah.

Has to be someone who is not a threat to Mary's job. What about Fitler? He is a bit of a dribbler, but when he is sensible, he still knows his footy.

Fitler too involved with his beloved Roosters...

Slightly OT - what about an approach to Sebastian Oreb as a strength coach or consultant? He's the bloke who trains Paul Gallen and Marty Taupau in the gym on their days off. Very, very good. Knows his sh*t.

We should see if we can snatch Stacey Jones from the Warriors, he is currently coaching the NSW Cup side for the Warriors who are in the finals and won the 2014 Holden Cup as coach of the Warriors U20s. IMO he is one of the best attacking halfbacks to ever play the game with an unmatched knowledge of the game. I think that he would take our team next year to a whole new level especially guiding younger guys like Hutchison and Crook as they move into first grade.

Why would he move from NZ and Crook won't be at the Dragons if the rumours are true.

Why does anyone move anywhere? $$$ I know it was obviously a stretch and I dont know anything about Jones lifestyle (i.e. living in NZ) but just thought it would be an interesting option

I thought people only moved just to be able to play with a twin brother ?
Surely it's not about the money...

Yep. When people are asked to take paycuts on backended deals they're more likely to look elsewhere, such as their twin's club.

But if you have a year to go on your contract shouldn't you play the 1 year then leave to play with your Bro? If he did Saints would have definately finished higher than the team he went to considering he has been one of their best attacking players.

No disputing he should have left but in 2016 not 2015. He should never have been given an offer to leave earlier than 2016.

Thank God we're back to discussing Brett Morris leaving. There's so much more to be said on this topic.

so he stays and the club goes over the salary cap and gets fined.... they totally screwed the cap and player payments so Mary made the call that a "winger isnt worth that much" and the rest is history..

Good candidate.

Toovey would be the man I would like as a attacking Coach .I believe he does not want to full time coach at the present time .So as a part timer he would tick all the boxes.
