I heard something about him not that there is anything wrong with that.

I've seen him with his kids around Rose Bay. I guess he could also be interested in the other team.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

good move, foran has the calmest head on his shoulders, there's no reason he couldn't be far greater than cooper cronk at 7, he has all his attributes + more.

I think they're very similar players. Cronk has a better kicking game (a lot better, actually) whereas Foran has better footwork, which makes him a better defender and playmaker.

But kicking games can be improved. For halves, who kick a lot, they tend to improve over time anyway. Look at Robson's kicking game this year compared to 2009.

Kieran Foran is the most similar type of player to Sterling that I have seen. Probably doesn't have the superior kicking game but is very similar in being a very direct running half and not a drifter like Thurston if that makes sense. I suspect Sterlo thinks the same which is why he is a big fan.'

After round two (Watmough) probably shouldn’t have been playing but you know what? He was our marquee signing and they would have went through the roof if he wasn’t playing.

“So he just went ‘yep, I’ll play’. And he kept playing and the physios tried to rule him out for five weeks straight and he kept going.

Is he referring to us supporters? I really like Brad Arthur, but that comment disappoints me. If he should not be playing then don't play him - why would you pick a bloke who is busted just so you don't upset the supporters?? I think that maybe shows his inexperience.

He should not give a f**k what us supporters think - we are all clueless merkins really. I think that is an excuse.

Anyway, good to see a player so committed despite the pain -same goes for Wicks.

Arthur has learnt that Parra coaches have to care what the fans think, because the elected board certainly do. They'll drop him in a heartbeat if it'll save their skins.

Wow, I don't. FOran is a half. I really don't know if he can handle getting the ball more than he did at manly. It will take him time to adjust.sterling got the ball probably 90 PCT of the time.

I would liken tim smith,Paul Taylor and even Thurston to sterling more than foran.

90% of the time? Come on. There is no way he touched the ball anywhere close to 90% of every play.

I meant 90% of each play.

In a set if 6, he was 1st receiver nearly every play that he was halfback

I can't really recall but I don't think the hookers passed the ball directly to a forward doing a hitup.

Tayylor sometimes played halfback and sterlo fullback

Hookers the majority of the time passed the ball to the forwards in Sterlo's era.

Cooper Cronks kicking game was pretty average when he took over Orford, he wasn't a halfback at the tinme and through grade, his work ethic and discipline enabled him to master his chosen craft. Foran has those characteristics
