I still reckon idg will get the bench spot and it is for him to lose to king or pritchard

Gower would probably get a spot as he could play edge, middle and can play 80

i remember IDG stinking it up badly last, shit passes from dummy half, missed tackles etc.

I doubt hes a certainty.

His contract might have him outside the top 25 next year, especially if we were intending for Pritchard to come into the side in 2016.

Anyway, if he's willing to do pre-season I can't see him retiring. He'll play out his last season and earn his last paycheck. You're a long time retired, and $80k isn't chump change.

barring injury, i think IDG will start year on the bench - he's one of our best defenders .... but imagine by about 8 rounds in our #9 rotation will change

Kaysa is also a good defender. I'd say they're about the same in attack but Kaysa is quicker so he may get the jump ahead of IDG at this stage, he's also a lot younger and we may go with him because he may have more of a future with us.

for sure - i think kaysa has been great in his limited chances .... I actually think he is a big chance of being our starting #9 by then end of the year if he stays healthy

Let's hope Issac doesn't retire, its not like Peats, Pritchard and King are known for their durability. Good chance they will all be injured by round 12.

Think our dummy half rotation will be between Peats, Pritchard and King. Can't see IDG getting a lot of NRL time.

IDG is a very underrated player. He has never let us down. Tough as they come and possibly the best defensive hooker that we have.

Peats, IDG and Pritchard are all good defenders there isn't much between them in that regard so I don't think it will come down to defence if one gets picked over another. Pritchard is a better runner of the ball than IDG but haven't really seen him play much since his NYC days and back then he was smart about engaging the markers. Peats' knows that he tackled too much last season which hindered his attacking game, being the professional that he is I expect him to engage the markers like he did in 2014.

On talent Pritchard is the best hooker at our club. That game against Melb last year, before he was injured he was pretty dynamic.

he started to let us down abit at the backend of 2015, that may have been because we were running out of options and asking too much of him.

But he had a few shockers in there.

Its how it goes, under rated players can get ovet rated after a while. Currently peats is our best hooker im defence and attack, his line speed and first contact is much better then IDG and miles ahead of prichard but all 3 are very good. prichard is quicker out of dummy half but peats engages the markers better and slots into the backline better (occasionally), peats kicking game is also the best of the 3. IDG attack is average and his distribution is very average.

The thing I don't get is why Edwards is in more trouble for the alleged incident than Pritchard?

I mean, if a player is handed a urine sample bottle and told to wee in it, and then the wee comes back belonging to someone else, surely the first player has primary/equal responsbility for that?
