The club needs a broom through the playing side of things. Our office is much improved but we're still running the majority of the rust from asada.

He played fullback against the dragons and we got f**kin pumped to bejesus

Ennis played hooker and we got pumped! Sack him.
Fifita played prop. Sack him.
Lewis played. Sack him.
Wade played. Sack him.
Bird played. Let him walk.
Val played. Sack him.

Stupid argument.

Whilst CB appears to be a big Barba fan I am not. But he is totally correct about it not up to Gallen to comment on Barba at FB. Also Gall picking where he plays and Wade being next in line. I am over Wade in particular hanging out with Carney. That should/could be stopped. As for fat players, plenty carry more than you would expect. But should be in shape for start of the comp. Jack Bird looks like he has eaten Barba.

FB for me is the mystery. I am voting for Holmes. Bird to lock and Gall to prop. Not a believer in Barba. Same player who largely disappointed at the Broncs. I think injury has taken its toll. Rarely makes a clean break. Milford is the new Barba.

But we paid big bucks for Barba. Bench is ok with me. He can cover half, wing,FB and hooker. But he needs time. No good getting 20 mins when game decided.

For all he has brought to the club, I see us stuck in a time warp until Gall leaves. He has even managed to schedule another fight. Joke. Then of course he will miss his mandatory 8 games around origin.

On John Morris not so sure. Plenty of good coaches were not great players. Done ok in first year and can't do worse than previous 20s coaches. Jobs for the boys. Well Shepherd is still around.

CB also correct about Bird being self righteous. Neither a first grade FB or 5/8. I think lock but Flanno centre. If he plays FB then we really are living in One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest.

I am not a Barba fan, I am a Sharks fan. And right now, the team is being divided by a group of flat track bullies.

I read it very different, it seems to me cb4 is unhappy with the treatment of the player and the dynamic of the group.

Barba the latest to suffer from it, not so much Barba is the greatest player type thing.

Make take anyways.

Nailed it.

All starts at the top.
The coach has let this go on and is too chummy with the clique.

Benny probably over called Gal a few times in the early rounds and that's why the two don't get along.

Absolutely no surprises here.
I strongly suspect that Gorman has fallen somewhat into line as well.

Probably, the bloke is a dead set pussy.

Been told that he coward in a corner quicker than a puppy in a storm when dealing with the NRL over the Fifita incident.
I bet if it was one of the inner bum chums though he would have been on the front foot.

He is too busy trying to make a European atmosphere at games than he is dealing with the bigger issues at the club.

Major sponsor yes, but he isn't killing off the major problems we are facing.

...I good coach would move Gal to prop, play Barba at fullback and tell Bird to stop being self-righteous twinkie and do whats best for the team, but Flanno won't have any part of that.

Therein lies the problem. Enter Flanno lovers...

Anthony Milford, like Barba, was a 5/8 growing up. He was moved to fullback at Canberra to accommodate him.
People think it is a master stroke by Bennett, when all he did was put Milford in his natural position.

fifita was a fullback
lewis a winger
means jack shit now

Bennett let the broncos take a hit by letting Barba go.
He replaced him with Milford who had been one of the best fullbacks in recent years...regardless of his apparent illustrious junior career as a 5/8.
If you think Bennett got lucky there, then you are dreaming.
He know his shit.
He knew even he couldn't fix Barba.
One of the first things he did when he went back up there was give Barba the flick.

Ben Barba, the "counting the beat" of rugby league?

I'm not sure what you are saying, and I don't think you know either.

I pointed out to you it wasn't a master stroke putting Milford in the 6. How the f**k do I think it is lucky playing a 5/8 at 5/8? That's called good coaching.

Flanno has always been the problem. Didn't see the ASADA shit happening under his watch. Should have been punted just for that.

Has Maloney started training yet? Where does he fit into this devided playing group?

He better be ready to take control of the play making and over rule anyone he needs to.

You would think with all the experience between Ennis and Maloney that Gal's influence would be reduced somewhat..

Where does L.Lewis fit into it? He seems to get on with Birds like a house on fire.

All I'm doing is pointing out that Bennett did it too.

We kind of did OK this year with the dodgiest halves combo in the comp.

I want to see what happens with Maloney. It should make a big difference.

As to the boys club, I can't think what selection issues there were last year. Disagree with the barba thing if you like ....but I for one can understand why he was benched. He certainly wasn't playing out of his skin and demanding the FB position.

If he was to punt feefs to reggies for example that would be a different story.

But I have no idea what's going on behind closed doors. Can only comment on selections and form and have no real issues so far. Next year may be a different story.

why is that?

Are we talking Flanno or Gallen?

Coach was the one who hired him. Perhaps he wants him gone, it is his job no issue.

But why is our Captain snubbing his team mates and making insulting statements about his fellow players?

Does Corey Parker tell Bennett who to pick?

I knew it. I was going to start a thread saying how good is a Sharks off season without dramas. Just hoping this possible internal drama is the worst of it.

I'm not suggesting it is either coach or Gallen pulling the strings.
I'm just pointing out a few things that people seem to forget.
Like that Barba wasn't good enough for Bennett.
He preferred to pay him to play for us.

why?

You have missed the entire point of my thread. Bravo.

I don't care if Barba is pushed out. I care about who is pushing him out and why.

If he got pushed out for coming back to training F A T fat and having a bad attitude I would be all for it.

He is being pushed out because our Captain and his posse of mean girls want him gone. There is a difference in Wayne Bennet recruiting Darius and Milford to Gallen being a sly merkin looking out for his own best interests.

The point of my thread is, Gallen is a piece of shit, and has a posse of shit stains running the show, not Barba going to Manly.

Is that clear now?

I find it impossible to believe you are this f**king stupid. If you think my post is about Barba being released, read it again.
