I have a problem with two players commanding approx. 2 mill. of our salary cap & a large number of the rest playing for peanuts.

This is rarely a good way to go as it creates disharmony.

It also places huge pressure on Sam & GI to perform to their pay packet!!

If I was a test player like Walker I wouldn't be all that happy that a couple of anointed players were getting nearly 4 times my salary!!

dylan is on $250,000 now, isn't he? he is worth more, but that contract was signed before he was as good as he is now. i heard souths offered him $500,000 a year starting from 2017. i'm glad we are keeping dylan for 2016. even if he wanted to go to manly now, i'm sure he will still try his best on the field, otherwise it could effect his chances of being selected for rep teams, and who knows, if he plays bad, manly might change their mind about wanting him. it's not like there are any centres on the market who are as good. we already have him for 2016 for $250,000, which is a bargain! next year he could be the difference between winning a premiership and not making the grand final

Not much point in keeping a disgruntled,difficult player for 2016 if he has already signed/agreed for MANLY for 2017.

Dylan is a quality player though. Sammy would get into him that's for sure.

The question is if? No one from the club is saying anything.
