Nup. Pretty much what Bigfella said. The only qualification would be if he had signed for a ludicrously small amount (e.g. minimum wage) that could be interpreted as a sham intended to maximise damages rather than normal commercial behaviour. There's no suggestion that has happened.

Didn't the Duke make it clear that Lafai is a left side centre and that is his preference.
We have one of those in Taka so why would we want Lafai?

Well we've taken Fitzy to court in the last week for breaching a confidentiality agreement, so maybe the parties won't blab ?

He has an obligation to minimise his losses. Plus signing a contract crystallises his loss and simplifies the claim.

But I reckon it's been settled behind the scenes.

No one wanted it to go to court.

If hoppa had wanted it heard he would have sought it be expedited.

It's all part of the bluff in all these negotiations. A potentially expensive one.

He has been a respectfull player. We offered him a contract he signed and then we pulled it. What do you want him to do? So ok know worries. Seems like a quiet humble guy and I hope he plays some good footy. If he lives up to his Hype good on him. Seems a nice guy.

He's a solid player but that's it. He has no X factor and can't see him doing much better at dogs. I think he will be solid as he was for us. But it'll depend on how much he is being paid on how he will be judged.
