Todman beat Tulloch by 6 lengths in the Champagne Stakes when they were both two year olds

That was after he'd won the slipper by 8 lengths

Vain won the Craven A plate as a 3yr old by 12 lengths.

He also smashed Daryls joy by 5 in the Caulfield Guineas who then on to win a cox plate in a breeze  Him and Todman were arguably the best two sprinters before the might mare same along.

Vain would have made Black Caviar look like Wazn
My dear old dad would of agreed with you, we lost him a few years back. He did see her smash Hay list in they Lightning and did admit it would be much closer then he thought lol.

He reckons he would of led and broke her heart, he reckons he would of been a couple more ahead of her then the likes of Hay List was.

Cliffy Bashford's Cangronde was another favourite..
