Southpride I don't think Cody in the centres is the answer his defence would be big issue

Defensively, I don't think he has been too bad. He has missed a few tackles but I'm more interested in him making good decisions in defence, which he does do. Put it this way, he would be no worse defender than Dylan Walker was for us last season.

You can't drop everyone. Wingers don't win or lose you football games. Goodwin is solid but unspectacular and given the present state our team is in, his experience is vital. I'm more concerned with other players in our team than Goodwin.

He is to small for centre he would get killed by the likes of Roberts, Jennings, Morris etc plus if he was on the field you would want him to have the ball more in the centres that wouldn't happen

Souths problems are easy to fix. Just get someone who knows about recruitment to do the recruiting. There are way too many NSW Cup players in the top 20 players in the Souths squad

If you check the Cowboys' forward pack their average weight is around 110kg and the smallest player is about 107kg (ignoring the hooker). This is the profile of player you need these days about 110kg and fast for that size to play in the forwards. Souths have a stack of players on their forwards roster who weigh 103kg or less and that is too small these days

Same goes for the backs

It is a simple formula. For most positions you want players that are big, fast and strong. With the halves and hooker you are looking more for skill so this does not apply. In fact Keary and Reynolds are quite an acceptable halves pairing as 2014 showed. But the dumb Souths recruiters are happy to let Keary go while they sign up the likes of Turner and Goodwin who are too small for their position in 2016

I agree with you but I don't think it is as bad as you make out. If think if you get rid of Tyrell and replace him with one big front rower then we are back in business. I wouldn't mind seeing us go for someone like Ashton Sims. He is a good player, very experience, wouldn't break the bank and bring leadership qualities to the table. I'm not sure how he is going over England as I don't watch that much of the Super League but from the games I've seen of him, he looked good.

Most of the try's tonight where scored in Goodwin and Auva'a corner and the first try was off a Goodwin mistake. Sorry but he was number one worst player on that field tonight

Goodwin will replace Hunt with Oldfield to the wing as the only change against the
Broncos.

Carter was one of our best though.

From memory, his profile says he is 5'11 and around 90kgs. That is not small for a centre by any stretch of the imagination. Put it this way, he is bigger than James Roberts. Also, it is not necessarily about him getting the ball more; its about him excelling when he does have the ball and in the centres I feel he can do that. Remember, quality over quantity.

We have a Captain in GI who has poor body language and is walking plus disinterested and putting half hearted tackling attempts in.

We have a hooker in Cam who shouldn't be starting in the 9. He's too slow and lacks direction in his play.

We have Grevs who can't catch and gives penalties away and is lazy in defence.

We have Turner who doesn't offer much.

The twins being out of form is a massive problem. They don't seem focussed.

Tyrrell well don't get me started....................

Roberts is 6foot. I don't see him at centre to be honest. Best bet is the position that he has played before 5/8 or fullback

Our forwards are shit they can't tackle and compete, they are too weak and can not stop players and put them to ground, Clark, Tyrell, turner, carter, Greshmul are too weak

Well I disagree. Bryson wasn't walking. His body language wasn't too bad.

Our worst were Auva'a and GI.

Our Captain was walking and disinterested Rsag. He didn't want to be there.

Tyrrell and Turner were hopeless too.

Tom issued 7 tackles too. He was one of our worst.
