Your talking about an ageing player with a chronic knee injury who won't be worth what he once was and could therefore be quite affordable, presuming that he won't be asking for overs.

gi is already signed by the rabbitohs for next year for $900,000, so the broncos would have to match that for them to have him next season. if they want to do that then they might be doing us a favour (only because of his knee problem). most of that money could go towards signing someone like tedesco and the rest of the money can go towards signing a big forward

I actually look forward to a mundine comeback if true, and not forthe obvious reasons. Yes like most I'd like the loudmouth to fail, but he is also one of the most natural lyon gifted players to play the game, he has been kept in shape through boxing and has had been through hard knocks through the whole time so the physicality might not be as huge a.mountain to climb. I think a nrl return by a 40 year old is almost impossible, but if anyone is capable of it then maybe it's The Man. Either way it's a win-win for nrl fans (as long as it's not at your club), you either get to see a 40 year old return against the odds or you get to see a loudmouth fail.

Agree;but I'd like to see him succeed!!

It surely would create a lot of interest---the game needs that!!

Where you a fan of him as a player doyen?

I'm probably like everyone else in hoping that the big-mouthed,smart-arse fell flat on his face.
Nevertheless, one has to admire his athleticism & the colour he added to the game--even down to his showy flips after scoring a try.

I believe it would create massive interest to see him playing again.

In this venture I'd like to see him go well!

Their isn't any site thats good for that. Zero tackle has the years a player is contracted and sometimes have values but the list is inconsistent and not always filled in. Rlw have a rich list but i think they only do the top 30 players

I want Toronto to sign him as their marque player in the drive to the super league. Watching him get pole axed by 18 year old semi pro tradies week in week out would be ace.

South Sydney centre Hymel Hunt has been ruled out for up to five months after confirmation he ruptured his pectoral muscle in Friday's NRL loss to Brisbane.
The former Melbourne player is booked in for surgery on Tuesday, and isn't considered a chance to play again this year unless the Rabbitohs make the finals.
Halfback Adam Reynolds is still awaiting clearance of a broken jaw and will undergo further examination from team doctors on Tuesday.

I heard he trained as normal on Sunday, I can't imagine he would be waiting until Tuesday to find out if he broke his jaw on Friday.

Yeah he trained full body contact, the scans he had weren't conclusive though, that's why the delay.
