McInnes tackled his butt off, Cook got the forwards rolling.
Why can't we have a dummy half who can do both?

Curious....Did Thurston try to trip Inglis when he was about to score?

Even if Thurston would try to trip GI, The refs would penalize GI. :(
It's Rabbit season. If our players try to wrap the ball, it's a penalty.
If the Cowboys try to strip the ball with 2 on 1 it's a lose carry.

At least Cook got us going forward and was sharper than Cam. Cook had some good darts too.

Remember Issac an attacking hooker makes errors regularly.

I'd rather Cook who makes a couple of errors over Cam who gives a penalty or 2 away always and is a snail with no attack in him which the side needs.

Cook: 2 errors, 1 offload, 1 tackle break plus 10 for 64m and 27 tackles (96perecnt tackling efficiency proving he can tackle)

Cam: 1 penalty conceded, 0 tackle breaks plus 3 for 26m and 37 tackles (95percent tackling efficiency)

Cook had a couple of good scampers but his device from dummy half lets him down. He threw some really ordinary passes , taking wrong options and getting balls to blokes too late as they are about to get hit.

Cook has the habit of scampering of quick, but then getting unsure of himself, panicking and throwing a dodgy pass to a teammate (occasionally a hospital pass, like a couple today). Mcinnes doesn't run as fast or as often as cook, but when he does go, it usually is to good effect with tackle breaks and/or offloads as well

Today was a real example of how crappy our year is going.

Literally nothing went our way, but I appreciate the effort in some assets.

Reynolds was playing injured, it was so easy to tell by his lack of kicking game and involvement.

Thurston on the other hand as per usual took advantage of poor positioning and defence and absolutely lapped us. And of course as per usual, he got the rub of the green with the men in the middle.

It just wasn't to be our year.

Reyno playing against a class act like JT just shows how ordinary he really is.

Keary was our best!

Give Reyno a break Doyen. He is injured.

It was about time Keary had a good game.

Also Cam nearly puts me to sleep as he is looking around him and takes ages to pick up the ball at dummy half. If Cam continues at no.9 we will keep losing for the seasons to come.

I'd rather Cook even though he makes errors, Cam gives penalties away too which is unacceptable.

Cook is an attacking style hooker and we look sharper with him at hooker. It's clear to see.

Cam throws ordinary passes too and doesn't get it to Adam on the last at times.

It looks like Cam is day dreaming at times.

I'd persist with Cook. There were some positives today.

Cook would be far better off taking on a new career path altogether----maybe a chef or sailing perhaps---!!!!!

He threw one pass today that went about 10 metres into the air.

I still reckon AR's game is strictly kicking--he doesn't have much else.

If Cleary comes to Sths I hope he brings his son with him!!

I think you should stop making excuses for AR!!

AR is a premiership winning halfback and origin player. His forwards are getting steamrolled too plus he is clearly injured. I think you need to stop being so hard on him.

As I said it's about time Keary lifted. For far too long it's been up to Adam as Keary has taken a back seat.

Cams passing game is poor overall too. Cam is not the answer. Cam is an interchange player.

I hope Madge stays put which it seems will be the case. It seems there will be a cleanout on Madge's support staff etc.

Thanks. Perhaps, Madge should give Krys Freeman (Knights) a tryout during the off
season. He is the son of former NZ Capt Gary Freeman. Maybe by adding a 3rd
Hooker, it would make Cook and McInnes lift their game? Knowing their spot in the
17 ain't safe. Here are some of Freeman's highlights.

I thought you wanted Keary to play for Norths for the remainder of the season?

So much this.

At least cam is there at the start in defence going 1 on 1 with fresh starting fowards. Cook would be flattened in that situation. If Cam does make a mistake the team seem to rally around him and pat him on the head, not to worry etc etc, with cook he stands there looking dazed and confused and on his own.

Its clear to see

The only thing clear to see here is that you're saying we're not a team.
Giving encouragement to 1 player and not to another.
