I'd much rather keep mcinnes and get Reynolds for cook. Still think Mcinnes is a far better long term prospect then cook. It's easier to Turn a good defender into a more rounded hooker then it is to turn a flashy hooker into a competent defender. Guys like ennis, peats, j.friend, McCollough etc even cam smith started out as good defenders who have grown into the role

Exactly, there's plenty of time for McInnes to keep getting better, whereas Cook is probably in his prime.

Unfortunately there are supporters who demand perfection from all 30 squad players and don't realise it takes time to develop players especially in key positions.

There is some sense to this if we sign Farah, by the time Robbie departs Cam should be in his prime, if Cam hasn't made it by then he never will.

Completely agree. I've been critical of Cam this year, but do think he has more potential than Cook. I think Cook is a better hooker right now and is much better for our game plan, but in 2 years Cam should be ready to start full time.

Hang on, could we all be on the same page here? Best scenario. Farah comes, Mcinnes is his understudy and Cook gets fired into the sun?

Well I wouldn't fire him into the sun. Only problem with that is that Cam is getting paid starting money whereas Cook is cheap. Not sure we can afford to have Cam's money playing 20 minutes a game or running on for the Bears.

McInnes is our Dallas Johnson. He can tackle till the cows come home but can't pass.
He's suited more at Lock. Waiting for McInnes to develop into one of the best #9 will
never happen.

That's what a lot used to say about Peats but he is highly regarded now!!

Cook is a bit too fluffy & cuddlecakes for me!!

Cook to go,I hope-----Cam to stay!!

Cook is cheap & deservedly so!!

No use tackling and getting pushed back i havent seen him push back the storm game was the first since 2014 we didnt get pushed back 10 meters a tackle
And thats what cam does he tackles weakly getting pushed back but in saying that the whole pack is guilty of that we are liabel to get rid of him and in 2 years is a star we cant turn a trick lately

Cook to stay.

Cam to go please.

Cam is not what we need at hooker which is what I've said many times. In 2 years if we keep him it'll be no different.

mcinnes has had quite a lot of games in first grade now. picking the ball up quickly and passing it quickly is a basic dummy half skill that he often doesn't do. he needs to work on his game in nsw cup for now. i'm not saying he doesn't have potential though
