So Inglis' contract runs out at the end of the 2017 season, right? Do you guys think we should re-sign him, or use the money he is on, to sign other players, or player. Tedesco is coming off contract at the end of the 2017 season too. Maybe it will come down to how Inglis' knee holds up.

Hey guys, Knights fan here.

James Hooper reporting that you guys have signed Robbie Rochow on a one-year deal for 2017.

Obviously yet to be confirmed, but if it is true then you have got yourselves a very solid first grade forward. Last two years he has only played 13 games because he has been unlucky with injuries but if he stays fit he will be good for you guys.

Big young kid with potential, was 18th man a few times last year but this year has jumped between 20s and NSW Cup. Has still got potential and possibly even some growing to do, fits more in the backrower kind of mould imo.

Bar Cam Smith he is the best no 9 in the comp,NSW hooker and a great player all round,
Our options ATM Cam and Cook don't even get near Robbie
I would much prefer a tested and top notch no 9 than the 2 average guys we have now

Maybe 5 years ago he could of made that claim. But he has dropped off a fair bit since then. There is a reason he is currently playing reserve grade at the tigers.
Yes he is a nsw hooker, but that has more to do with Laurie Daley's insane 'Loyalty' policy. It's seen him pick Pearce for years when he's clearly not up to it. It's seen him pick Hopoate, Hodkinson, Tamou, Cordner (although he looks to be finally coming good), jackson, klemmer the list goes on. It's laurie Daley's 'loyalty' policy as a selector that had Kurt Gidley play fullback for year and Hayne on the wing.
2nd best hooker? Obviously Smith is number 1, but is Farah currently better then Luke, Ennis, Hodgson, Peats, Granville, McCollough, Friend heck even halatua has been better for Tigers this year.
This is before you even get to the worrying part of Farah, age and baggage. He is no spring chicken. He has clashed with his last 3 club coaches. His leadership in both the blues and tigers has been questioned and in both cases it's been levelled that he stifles the play of the halves.

I think the dragons are paying Rein $600k per season so if they sign Cam for $400k they free up $200k of salary cap.
