All we need is a quality halfback and a hooker. That is ALL we need guys. We will literally be a top 4 roster and threat if we can score Segeyaro and maybe Hodkinson, Elgey, Taylor or Norman.

If our forwards can put in this sort of performance (Sharks Rd 23) week in week out we're set in that department. We have one of the best back rows in the comp and with the addition of Josh Kerr and Mose Masoe up front next year we'll have a pretty fearsome pack. I mean if we're talking wishful thinking, another quality prop for 2017 would be nice.
Our backs look set next year too and with the addition of Macdonald and Dufty to the side we will have that extra speed necessary to score tries.
Re-sign Luciano Leilua, sign Ivan Cleary and 2017 is looking really good.

You could be right. Ah Mau comes back into tonight's squad after suspension which adds another front rower. Lost a bit this year but in a good group of guys he should regain form.

Milne and Mann have been good for us since being promoted. Dugan needs to be coached how to pass and add that dimension to his game. At present nobody expects him to pass cause he doesn't.

The right halfback that complements Widdop rather than competes with him might see a return to form for our 58.

Is it not too much to ask for some competency from the Board to make the right moves? It's really not out of our reach to sign Ivan Cleary and Segeyaro. The halfback issue might plague us for a while but I know that we are within reach of those two blokes who will make a MASSIVE difference for us.

Get a good coach..then Hooker. Widdop played well tonight and with the right coach and halves partner will be fine. Things will fall into place.

The club is not going to get a great coach like Bellamy. He is a great coach and he isn't coming they will settle for a decent coach and Cleary is half decent and is better than Mary but i still don't think he will offer what people might truly want.

The Dragons certainly need a 7 and 9 and again will have to settle for decent first graders with very slim pickings.

Pretty evident after tonight's game is that we only need a 9
Rein tried hard (almost as if he was playing for a contract) but just lacks the next level skill set. I actually thought Packer was going to ping him after he (Rein) didn't pass to him when he had a clear run to the line (Packer desperately wants a try for the Dragons) would have been a stroll over for the big guy.

Segeyaro would be the one, followed by Baptiste. The Marketo experiment blew up tonight.

Based on that performance I hope that next year we can get into the top five, if that happens there is going to be a huge player reshuffle across all teams and we might not be so unattractive as we are now, we have the forwards, centres and with MacDonald and Mann we have our wingers, all we need is. 7 and a 9, hopefully our juniors will be another year older and ready for FG, just look at our juniors this year, it all goes towards us being great once again

I thought last night's game was the best game i can recall where Benji and Widdop actually resembled a halves pairing and had combination. Benji the ballplayer/chief kicker and Widdop the runner and it worked.

One game does not a season make or justify offering Benji a new contract (and I'm not saying sign him) but everyone saw a different, un-overly structured attack tonight. The experts have said all week this would suit Benji and guess what?

It's just a shame it's taken this long for the coach to pull out his 2B pencil and join the dots.

I agree - we have the makings of a good team. Hooker, half and coach is what we need (although if Benji plays like that every week, he's still a great player).

Milne, Aitken, Mann are improving each week and Duges was enormous last night. And Sims finally gives us that forward leader we've been crying out for. Him and Friz (together with Masoe next year) could be the makings of a great forward pack. And if we get Macdonald, that's some speed we need in our flanks.

Still a few pieces we need, but some great signs last night.

Oh and play more games at Kogarah FFS. I could feel the atmosphere even watching on TV and I'm sure that spurned the boys on.

As I suspected a lot of posters crowing how good we are and the players are all OK.

I really enjoyed the win and particularly the style we played but do not for a moment do I believe the Sharks were anywhere near their best.

Maybe just maybe the Sharks have been the imposters of the comp up to now and are being found out a little bit?

Anyway you can only play what is in front of you and to that end we were very good last night but I think we should all be a little tempered in our view as to exactly how good we are really going.

Broncos and Dogs have kicked onto wins after playing us lets see how the Sharks go and if it is downward then don't fall for the sucker punch is all I can say.
