Ask Handyman. He will tell you. He said so.

Cam was going to the Dragons so we would have had to pay him more to keep him. That's common sense.

Cut out having a go at me too.
Maybe he was going to the dragons before Issac left. Once Issac had gone 1st choice hooker was his to take. Doubtful SOUTHS would then pay more to retain him after he'd agreed to leave on the premise he wouldnt be starting hooker

Stop taking people assumptions as gospel. If someone says 400000k it isnt the truth. Straight opinion.

If you look at Cam's timeline
1.issac luke has the position settled, dragons haven't had a settle hookers in years
2. Mcinnes signs with dragons, round 13 rule applies
3. Luke signs with warriors
4. Rein finds some form so dragons doesn't appeal so much anymore, on the flipside with Luke gone the chances of playing regular first grade is pretty much guaranteed, it's at a club you grew up with and were a captain with in junior levels and at the time souths were still a top 4/contender (before our 2015 fade out).

The thing that gives the 400k story credence is the fact that souths were desperate for a hooker, but on the flipside souths still had great leverage in negotiations with Cam.

Same here. Wouldn't hate it if we developed him into a Ryan Hinchcliffe type of hooker/lock. Seems to suit him better at the moment.

If we sign Farah, I think he could play a bit of lock. I'd have him at dummy half for the first 30 mins. I'd give Sam Burgess a rest after 30 mins and move Farah to lock (where he'd play as a second dummy half/an extra creative ball player). Cook would come on after 30 minutes to play dummy half. I would have Sam Burgess come back on the field (at lock) around the 50th minute (replacing Farah, who goes to the bench). So Sam Burgess would get around 60 mins, Farah around 50 mins, and Cook around 50 mins.

In fact if McInnes is really on $400,000, then we could just swap him for Farah for the 2017 season, but we still pay for McInnes in 2017, and Wests Tigers continue to pay for Farah in 2017. So basically it would be like we are paying $400,000 for Farah, and Wests Tigers are paying $950,000 - $1,000,000 for McInnes. Lol.

If the Tigpies CEO and Recruitment Manager is as smart as John Lee and Grant Jones,
They should take the deal, after all McInnes is a future NSW rep and Captain.

Rsag do you still want sam gone??
I've noticed the thread you made about burgess has to go has gone quiet and most disagree, have you been watching Sam play of late??
And others do you still think he is most overrated player in 16
I suppose that depends on who rating him
I always knew he was an absolute weapon, even more so when he holds the ball,I really think our team is STRONGER with Sam in it RSAG

Yeah he could, I personally haven't seen the last two games in their entirety so I can't really have an opinion on Cook, but I liked the way we had Cam start and Cook come off the bench. Whatever works for the team I suppose though.

I am of the same thought, Joe is much more of a modern day winger than Oldfield, who isn't bad as a backup.
I think Cam should be kept in NSW Cup and only used as a depth player in the back row.

If Cam is on 400k we could hopefully send him to the Dragons and not have to,pay any of his contract.

I'd keep Cook at starting hooker and I'd play Farah off the bench to start with. Then if Farah performs I would start him.
