Would have to be these two...

I don't think there's been such a perfect and in-sync combination since 2013 (Pearce + Maloney). I think it would be foolish not to pick Pearce and Keary (C) for origin this year.

Worst halves...

The sooner Moses and Brooks find other teams the better. They are both so young. I feel like a season with Cronk, JT, AReynolds, Pearce, Maloney would grow their game enormously. They each need an older head beside them. As it stands they are too young, don't know how to build pressure and have a lot of work to do on their defence.

The best is Thurston + "insert any 5/8".

Has been for years.

But on form, and as a pair, Pearce and Keary have been great. Early days though...

Warriors halves have been pretty bad too
don't know how this is the only mention of them

they had about 10 times the amount of tackles in opposition 20 as the struggling dogs halves and still looked far inferior then their opposing halves, thats bad.

Too young? They're getting into their mid 20's with over 3 seasons of NRL level under their belts.
(Edit: They're 22, 23 this year - I thought they were a year older.)

The time for judging them based on the potential they showed in lower grades is well and truly gone.
They need to produce form, and now. They want .a big contract? Then produce good results. Potential from 3 or 4 years ago doesn't mean squat

Cleary and TMM have been good for new young combo. At this stage Moylan is still doing the lions share of the playmaking which helps, there are still some kinks to worked out in terms of the combination between the three of them but both Cleary and TMM defend well, kick well and take on the line consistently which is great for young halves.
