He played well at the back end of last year. He was rubbish the rest of the year and he's reverted back to that this year. There's no point in in debating this any further. We are delighted to see the back of him and you seem delighted to be getting him, so everyone is happy. I'll be interested to see how he's being received in the Eels forum in 12 months time. I predict there will be "Moses is a useless Merkin" thread by round 10 next year.

At the end of the day Moses is an enigmatic ball runner, he's dangerous in broken field play. That's it.

The problem is that he's delusional and also thinks he's a slick play maker who can control a game.

If Brad Arthur can just get him to stick to what he's actually good at then he could be a good pick-up, but I think Moses' huge ego won't allow that to happen.

Brooks was the sole reason we beat the dogs with Moses trying his best to lose it.

Brooks was also a lot better than Moses against sharks, it doesn't take the smartest man to realise that if you watched both games.

on easter monday he was the sole reason parra came back against the tigers and won. against the sharks we were up by 6 until moses kicked out on the full and the sharks scored next set. brooks set up both tries whilst moses threw forward passes then abused his team mates.

honestly you post more about the tigers then every tigers fan on here combined, its really, really sad.

End of the day he's obviously not happy, rightly or wrongly, at the Tigers and causing problems as a result. We need a second play kicking option to take pressure off Norman, because Gutherson/Takairangi/Smith/Edwards aren't up to it.

He's a talented player who played like an elite playmaker in patches during his best form. At absolute worst he's a better kicking option for the rest of this season than what we have run out at 6 this season. So probably better for both sides.

As a general comment I've never understood why coaches force players who clearly don't want to be there to play. Either drop them to reserves or let them go. It's better for the side in the long run, and often in the short run too....nothing worse than a bloke who doesn't give a shit, and while I doubt there are very many professional players who will ever deliberately play poorly there's certainly no way a player who doesn't want to be there is doing the tough stuff when the team isn't travelling so well.
