Aah.. Gray to the Sharks, AJ to Tigpies or Dragons rumours... jeez. Don't these 3 teams know there are better talented players out there than Gray and AJ? There's Justin Hunt, Jordan Rankin, Dane Nielsen, Michael Oldfield, Matthew Allwood, Blake Ayshford, Gerald Beale and Chase Stanley. These players have plenty of speed, safe under the high ball and great defenders at training, If i were the Sharks, Tigpies or Dragons. I'd chase these players.

We have to not be silly with our choices otherwise we will make only 1 good signing when we could be making at least 2 good signings if we are smart about it.

There is strong mail later this week Gagai will be announced.

AJ to the Dragons or Tigers.

Gray to the Sharks or Knights.

Gray will be a loss for us.

So if we lose AJ and Gray and just sign Gagai that means a dud like Burns or Jennings will have to come back into the side unless we make another signing in the backs.

TBH I'm not so sure about this Gagai signing.

I'd have definitely preferred Mitchell, Fergo or Dylan.

700k is overs.

Last few weeks he's been lazy at the Knights too.

I'd also take Chambers over Gagai.

Gagai is good but I thought there are better options.

Half of the time Newcastle are even competing is because of Gagai. He's a deadly ball runner. Gray and AJ haven't signed off yet there's no need to freak out now. In any case I'm sure we will recruit another outside back with gray and AJ's money.

The cheapest to keep would be Goodwin so I wouldn't be surprised if he stays with us.

In regards to James graham. He is supposed to be on 950,000 a year next year. In my opinion There's no way the dogs can fit him under the cap especially because they're having cap trouble this year. They will have to release him to a rival club. It looks like the dogs have literally replaced graham with woods...

On another note bring out cane and cane em out of here with a one way ticket.

Clean the place up is what we need!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cmon Richo!!!!!!!!

They want overs tell em to fug off. We ain't waiting until the end of the season for them to make their minds up and missing the talent out there.

Gagai and Asiata is a start!!!!!!!!!!

Also Musgrove shouldn't be dropped.

If Madge ever drops his pet Turner I'll tell you we are in a different world!!!!!

The prop signing is not Graham apparently.

Gagai has been reported elsewhere as 650k over 4 years not 700k over 3 years. 650k is not overs. Also Mitchell was on his way to us before SKD was dropped so we may still chase him for next year depending how the next few weeks go. We wouldn't be letting both Gray and AJ go unless there was another signing in the pipeline. Neilson won't be re-signed, not sure about Goodwin he's been solid but there would be a few who go just can't see us letting both AJ and Gray leave.

I'm really happy with Gagai. I rate him as one of the best backs in the NRL and he will certainly add a lot of strike to our backline. He can play fullback, centre, even wing and it will be interesting to see where he slots in. Another leader in the backs to help mentor the younger guys too. Him and GI could be lethal next year.

I regards to AJ and Gray, I want us to keep at least one, if not both. We all know Gray is a great player and AJ is a great winger, I admit he's not a great fullback though so keep him on the wing.

If you ask me I would say let Goodwin go/retire (sorry R20). Don't get me wrong, I love him as a player, he is a good player and he is one of my favourites but lets be honest, he is getting on a bit and it would benefit the team more if we kept Gray and AJ over Goodwin. I just think this backline below would be awesome.

1. Gagai
2. Johnston
3. Inglis
4. Gray/Hunt
5. Hunt/Gray

Any more details? I can't think of any good props off contract/leaving apart from James Graham.

Some people saying it might be Graham others saying it's definitely not, other names mentioned are Lawrence and Packer...........i dunno, wait and see I guess.

We won't be keeping both of Johnston and Gray. We have a fight on our hands just keeping one of them. Both have been linked to other clubs.

Maybe we'll have to start throwing punches... ;)

Packer is heading to the tigers I thought? I don't know how I feel about Lawrence. He has so much potential that it feels like his never reached.
