Love this tribute to Eric Grothe snr. No wonder he is seen as one of the greatest wingers in the games history.

Guru was a machine. Unusual for a man of his size and strength to also have blinding speed, but he had it. Imagine trying to run down and tackle the bugger in full flight.

Dell needs more love. When he came to the Dragons, he was old, fat, and slow. But in his time at the donkeys pre-Union, he was unstoppable. Similar qualities to Grothe. Big, strong, and fast. And unbelievably, the Steelers turned down the chance to sign him following a trial.

Macdougall and wishart were my faves. Nowdays, rapana. Taniela tuiaki would have been 1 of the greats had he not been cut down by injury. He was a beast.

B Morris - prior to going to the Dogs the bloke was hard to stop but his defence was equally strong.
Rapana - Taken over from Morris in the last few years
Grothe Snr - Just a menacing runner.

If Wendel didn't piss off and play that shit sport. where he was mainly used as a decoy runner im sure he would be considered the best winger to play League. We only had him for about 6 seasons or so but I reckon hes still the best ive seen.

You wouldn't have a clue. If Lote Tuqiri wasn't playing in the same team as Wendell Sailor, Lote would have had Wendell for breakfast.

Big Dell and the Mad Dog had some epic club and origin clashes durong that period.

Michael Hancock played on a lot of good Broncos teams. I wouldn't call him the greatest winger but still was a quality winger.

Alan McIndoe was pretty underrated as well.

Isaah Yeo, he's a representative winger.

Other than him, ET or Martin offiah. Has anyone seen the clip of offiah scoring 10 tries in a semi final against Leeds I think
