LOL fair play to them that was actually a pretty entertaining race.

Hackevoy tried his best to get Qewy beat but just too strong... Kiwia had the cold sit on him but just couldn't get past.

With zero confidence, Tangled in the Derby but that horse gives me aids. should have won the last 2.

Couple of bucks each way on Aberro at $51 and Jonny Vinko at $35 just to keep me interested.

Not having much of a bet on Derby day, it's just too hard.

Agree, good bet,i got him and Pissaro for shit's and giggles bets cos the Derby is a joke field

Aberro is always around the mark at the finish plugging away like a donkey, might fluke 3rd this time around at good odds.

Stupid odds for a horse that's run in the top 5 in it's last 5 starts. If it wins in for a healthy collect, gets a place I still win.

Justice faith with Williams on board is another at ridiculous odds- it's placed 3 out it's last 6, and you are getting $60-1.

I like Ace High but that is absolute poison unders you are getting for a horse that fell in last start.

They just needed some time and to get over some ground by the looks.

Just because he won a slipper doesn’t mean he is going to sire two year olds.

True true brah

This weekend he has a few running from 1600m -2500m at Flemington

Carbine Club Stakes over 1600m

Levendi
Octabello

Wakeful Stakes over 2000m

Cabierro

Victoria Derby over 2500m

Pissaro

And Pinot in the Oaks next week as well

Backed Octabello last start, he’s still waiting to get out.

Might have a sneaky peanut on him again.

I hate when my horses finish 2nd,would prefer they run a 40 length last placing

Dead set the only win of the week has been on Quey at that paid $2.50 lol

Don't remind me about Dortmund costing me a rather substantial multi this morning!

I don't mind Octabello either - so we might as well put the pen through it then.

Yeh its funny how breeding works... Octagonal was born to be a stayer but was a freak and won grp races from 1200 to 2400.... he sired mainly milers/middle distance horses including Lonhro who was probably bred to run that distance but in turn he sires pretty much only sprinters... Pierro was probably born to be a miler/middle distance horse but was arguably best at 1300-1600 yet he seems to be siring horses that want 1600 as a minimum!

Zabeel was also bred to be a 2000 - 3200 horse yet only won up to a mile.

Some times the breeding skips a generation.

Normally the great mares don’t produce much on the track yet it’s their daughters and Grand daughters are the ones that produce the good horses.
