The number of people fooled by Terepo is honestly concerning...He's a less effective version of Alvaro and he couldn't catch malaria in Mali

Good enough next cab off the rank for the bench, Alvaro beats him in every single way though. We won'r be leaving out our best prop from last season for Ol' Penishands.

Don't forget the drink driving. That proves he's a mad merkin.

Right. So what Polar has to do is make some funny faces in a dance competition, then smash twelve Bundies, drive home and smash into a parked car. THEN he'll be a first grader for sure!

I'd rather carry Taka in the 17, probably starting in place of where you've got Scott, instead of having Smith on the bench. If Bevo or a half were to go down during a game then Hayne slots in to fullback or halves (BA has mentioned Hayne has trained in all those positions) and Taka plays centre. If no halves or fullback cop an injury, you get to carry a bigger bench and stick to the gameplan. But i guess we're fooked if King gets injured.... I dunno.... It's a tough one. The question I would ask is - is there a specific role or job in mind for Will Smith when carrying him on the bench or is he there mainly to cover an injury? I'm not a fan of the latter scenario, I'd rather a fit for purpose gang of 4 on the bench tbh...

I think it might revolve around those three players, Scott, Taka and Smith, to decide the team. But although I picked Taka to be the surprise packet this year I'm still a bit surprised he might have jumped over Scott or Tepai so soon. I know he's played in the forwards before he joined us but I don't know how much. I thought not a lot. BA must have seen enough in training.

I just think Smith was probably our best or at least close to it in our 2 finals losses, and from all accounts has absolutely killed the pre-season, and did really well in the trial.

It definitely comes down to Smith or Taka for mine for that 14, the fact that Smith can play 1-7 and 9 gets it for me.

Terepo is quicker and misses fewer tackles (though comparing f**k all with f**k all here).

Agreed Alvaro is better at everything else.

I hear his monobrow eats smaller eyebrows to absorb their strength.
If you want to kill Tim Mannah's eyebrows to take their place, make sure you destroy them by pummelling or tear them off with your teeth. Because if you use a gun to kill them the gun becomes Tim Mannah's eyebrows.

I think it is amazing how many of our fans underrate Alvaro.

Currently our best prop and could be pushing as a top 10 prop in the game by the end of the season.

I will put this disclaimer though. Kane Evans could be even better than Alvaro for our purposes (not saying he definitely will be but it is possible). I understand they are prob different players. Alvaro is a work horse like a very poor mans Matt Scott where Evans is more an impact prop like a Tamou.

Terepo is a solid enough 1st grade prop but not above Alvaro.

Smith was good against the Storm but wasn’t he dogshit against the Cowboys?
