And we persist with knuckleheads like Nathan Brown, Steve Price, and Mary McGregor.

There is a few years wasted amongst that lot and it could continue if we don't do well this year ....

We did sign Bennett and then he chose to leave us, when we offered him a very attractive contract. He then agreed to coach us again, but changed him mind at the last minute and went back to Brisbane.

Last time Bellamy was coming off contract, we were the club who came closest to signing him.

He said that there is already one offer on the table. I am wondering which club that is? Canberra and the Gold Coast are the first 2 clubs that come to mind for me. Maybe Canterbury? Could Melbourne be interested in a straight swap? Maybe Manly?

Probably because Bennett listened to him and gave him the responsibility of being the attack coach for the NRL team. Mary just moved him sideways to NSW Cup team as he was a threat against the Boys Club. That's the only reason I can think of!!

I still am a bit unsure about all of this . My mate Horrace who lives down in Melbourne said his wife's friend cousin saw Bellamy at one of those tanning solaramiums .

Anyhow he apparently let the cat out of the bag when he told her that he would be moving north at the end of the year and I quote " to be able to get that fresh salt air into my lungs " ! Where can you get fresh salt air in Brusbaane ?

Quite simply he will be moving to Wollongong and the a Dragons , with Bennett forced out of the Broncos and gone to Melbourne . And those rorters Brisbane throwing huge money at our Mary , it all makes perfect sense !

Bennet sure can coach. I'll tell you that for nothing. But he rarely leaves a club better off than he found it.

Dragons fans remember 2010, but I also remember the mess he left behind (a mess that others had to clean up). And Knights supporters don't even have a decent season under uncle Wayne to hang their hats on.

Personally, I hope he coaches the Roosters next year (because I hate their guts).

Interesting in the interview on Fox, Bennett when pushed on a point actually swallowed pretty hard and had to pause mid sentence to regain composure, so I suspect the deal might already be done and everybody has been paid well to lay doggo.

He was on the up with our great club after winning a comp with cutters. He could have been the next NRL Dragons coach if he played his cards right.

I understand that but the question is why did he move on after only 1 year of a 2 year contract especially after he said he was originally coming to Sydney to stay and citing family reasons as part of it.
Something fishy had to have happened and I agree you don't have to like everyone you work with but I am sure those he did work with had very different plans for JD and being head coach regardless of how he played his cards was never going to be part of their thinking.
Get rid of JD so no visible threats from within and Mc Fookknuckle gets an extension all pretty cosy by my reckoning.
