I should be president of this club.

If you do, could you please let me Coach the NRL Team?

  • Run straight and hard
  • Don't pass the ball unless the man you are passing to is in a better position.
  • No setting up for the next play until the current play is dead.
  • Backs trail Forwards
  • Everyone in motion inside the attacking 20 metre zone
  • Play whats in front of you - eyes up
  • Halves with the ball in two hands.
  • To play First Grade you must be able to pass left to right and right to left without turning your body.
  • Etc Etc Etc...

Mate, I can tell already you understand the game better than our current coach.

But do you know how to tile?

Hate is a strong word. I don't hate any of our players. Some ex-players yes, but not current.

Chad gives everything he has but he's just not up to NRL standard unless he has a gun like Maloney next to him. I love Moyza but he's never going to be an organiser, not his game.

We're in real trouble with him as our HB. Real trouble.

Flanno has done a decent job assembling a strong squad. Can't have guns in every position. This forum gas threads bagging Holmes and some members bagged last night.
Final straw was the idea of Segeyaro at HB. Risk taking is not Flanno's go. The same Segeyaro who has never played HB and had about 2 good games in 5 years.
Go with it. Then all the posters who want him over Chad, can come back in and say what nutter came up with the idea of Segeyaro at HB.

Chad has the right idea. Problem is at this stage he is painfully slow and too inept to execute the plays.

Never seen Chad dog it for us once so starting a ‘hate thread’ for a bloke who won us a premiership, goes above and beyond for the club in terms of dealing with kids and fans of the club etc is pathetic.

Criticise his play by all means, but some of this thread is why places like this get tarred with the coward castle moniker.

Reefy is right, there are some proper merkins in here.

Agree. Personal agendas over players whether Chad, Holmes or anyone else is lame. Call the performance how you see it but to make it personal is ordinary.

Crazy starting a hate thread. Personally I wish we had Thor on our team so he could beat the shit out if Captain America for that atrocious inside run when we had a massive overlap.

If you want to hate something, hate that play. It was kindergarten material

Chad wasn’t great
Couple of pretty shit efforts with kicks.

Was it him who put that inside grubber on for Val
That looked great.

No idea why they kick the ball in the air.
Surely it’s harder to pick up a rolling ball than catching one straight down your throat

Yeah that was him, was a good kick.

Ball in the air is up there for longer than a kick on the ground, gives the defence more time to get there.

Chad's kicking was shit but Flano was the one who told him to kick to Oats all day.
f**ked if I know why, the bloke is 10 feet tall and an absolute gun winger in the air.

We should have been avoiding Oats at all costs. Dumb strategy.

Interesting comment from Gal in the presser;

Unprompted and seemingly out of the blue he blurts out “Chaddy Townsend is under enormous pressure and we’re not listening to him at times”.
Truly?
To be honest if it weren't for last night you'd think that Chad being under pressure was complete caca. Seems to get a pat on the back for all his lackluster efforts in attack.

Good to know that the boys are taking things in their own hands if they don't trust his ability.

Actually, it was Oates that dropped it cold in the last couple of minutes that gave us the field position to attack.
