AFL, Rugby Union, soccer. There's two added to the one! And for the record if you don't think they are on FTA tv, you are not looking well enough. Please stop wasting time!
Wot?
AFL are the obvious competitor.
Soccer gets one FTA game each week for the domestic comp, which Network Ten push to their secondary channel 10Bold. The English Premier League has one game usually each week on SBS's multi channel.
Rugby Union, to my knowledge has little or no presence on FTA.
When it comes to FTA coverage of sport in Australia, NRL is second only to the AFL. Both have surpassed cricket in the past off-season with the new deal taking ODI and T20 broadcast off FTA.
If you think any code but the AFL is getting some kind of "free kick" over the NRL on FTA broadcasts, you're making shit up.
