Blake is a strike centre, without the strike.

There's a plethora of reasons as to why he gets little ball but for what we have him for, he doesn't deliver.

Peachy on the other hand, wins games.

We need to win more games and I don't see that same X factor from Blake.

I'd love to keep him, IF he were to be more of a weapon in attack and that is unfortunately a bigger issue.

You are sort of right here, I guess a strike centre is like a 9/10 attacking player whereas Blake is currently a 7.5/10. However one thing that stands out for me with Waqa last season and even this season is defence. He has become an excellent defender, makes very good reads, and absolutely shuts down opposing strike centres, and anyone else that comes his way. That is worth something.

He is a very good defender. He should be around a 7.5 at least in attack but hes limited, he's stuck carrying the ball in one hand which is a pretty big limitation. Whats the longest pass you've ever seen him throw? 3 feet? He just lacks basic footy skills and instincts to be a great attacking threat. That being said id like to keep him because his athleticism makes up for a lot of what he lacks in skill but I really don't care who stays or goes anymore they all came out playing like bums only JFH can hold his head high for the entire season.

Just a few days until June 30.

Looks less likely that we sign or lose anyone.

Peachy and Blake are both injured. Parra probably don't want to pay for him to be on the sidelines, nor us with Peachey.

I'm guessing this trade will happen, but now not until the end of the season.

I hope the trade never happens. We need to keep Blake.

But you watch a last minute deal happen.

Much as I loved Tyrone Peachy as a player in his time with us I don’t see any value in bringing him back.

I would have thought our ‘plan’ should be to find a strike centre to phase out Dean Whare whose best days are behind him and try and get the the best out of Waqa Blake who is much better than he has shown this season (he is not alone there).

I just can’t see the Blake situation being driven by the player himself, it surely has to being driven by Ivan Cleary.

He only resigned a long term deal, presumably on good money, last year.

He has been with us since being recruited by us from SG Ball and there were no obvious warning signs he was unhappy at the club or with his team mates.

What could possibly have changed in such a short period of time that he now wants out of the club? Certainly can’t be money or length of contract he has that here.

Maybe he feels his career is stagnating, but if he feels this way, why did he resign with us when it was widely known there were other suitors for his signature last year before he resigned.

I just don’t get it

Same could be said about Dallin

I know Maloney’s been great the last month (after being poor the 2 months prior) but I think it’s time to take a punt on Luai (for 2020) & ship Maloney off if we can. We backed Luai by re-signing him, so let’s see what he’s got.
