It was so blatantly obvious they were siding with pricky and his team. Poor raiders lots of injuries bla bla bla..
Even funnier post match when that coach from up north ( sorry i'm not allowed to call them by their name ) said Dylan Brown had been missing for 6 weeks..fair dinkum paid a bucketload to talk shit. He hasnt played for 11 rounds you dope..We have had our fair share of injuries but it goes unnoticed. Dylan Brown, Nathan Brown, Michael Jennings, Mau have all missed quite a few games.
We play a team with a few players out..media talk is..we played a depleted or injury ravaged side...

I don't think our injuries have been too bad this year. Certainly better than last year. But the Brown brothers have missed plenty of footy and it might not be coincidence that we are 3 from 4 when either of them play and 2 from 2 when they both play.

We've also won 100% of games when Nrown wears jersey 13 this year, though as usual the sample size might not be as scientific as we'd like.

Finally got to watch the game at 11 last night. I did know the score so it took the pressure off.
God we were ordinary most of the first half. The second half was improved but the Faiders were terrible.
You cant do more than win I guess.
How bad did we look trying to set up for that field goal? Just no idea at all.
We won. I do like it when we win. I cant believe we won without me watching. Another first.
Fergo had his rib protection on again.
Salmon was limping.
Nrown didnt look healthy.
Drown was as rusty as an old gate.
Sivo got hurt in every tackle.
Taka was Taka.

Loved getting the win and will enjoy it immensely over the next couple of weeks, but anyone who doesn’t think we had our fair share of luck in that game is kidding themselves.

The refs missing Gutho’s knock on in the lead up to our second try was a massive stroke of luck. They see that and we go into half time 10 points behind as opposed to 4.
Fergo’s second try was pure luck. Crocker just happens to knock on an easy pass directly into the hands of Ferguson leaving him clear space to run it back for a try.
The refs seemed to give us more than a couple 50/50 calls as well. Mahoney getting tackled without the ball was a questionable call. The offside from the kickoff penalty, while correct, doesn’t get called all the time. Wighton’s knock on towards the end from the drop out went backwards I thought, but then those pretty much always get called knock on these days so whatever.

And the Raiders forgetting how to hold onto the ball was pretty lucky. How often do teams play like that against us? Pretty much never (apart from the Panthers game this year, in which we’re were even worse). Some of their mistakes came from pressure put on by our defence, but they were making simple unforced errors constantly.

There’s nothing wrong with saying we had a lot of luck in our win. We’ve had our fair share of bad luck over the years it was nice to have it go the other way for a change. We did well to stay in the game and eventually won it which showed quite a bit of character. Awesome to get a win against Ricky and even better to finally score some tries against the Raiders!

For all the shit performances we’ve thrown up this year, and the lack of rep players or experience in our spine - we’ve only won 1 less game than the Roosters who are still most peoples favourites for the comp.
