Melbourne look old hat. It's the end of an era and it took some revolutionary rule changes to make it so. FWIW, I've enjoyed watching them play over the years but happy with the direction the game is heading in.

Speed, skill and individual brilliance will reign supreme whilst robotic structure, unnerving discipline and suffocating tactics are left behind.

I hate to be that guy because it's not super exciting but can we have a crack down on the play the ball. Way too much tunnel ball for my liking. Gives a huge advantage to the attacking side

In regards to that obstruction call, a defender cannot stop in the line, it's one of the easiest ways they can make obstruction black and white, and the one in the bunker who makes the call on obstructions is the review official (not senior) the review official is a former player which is what people called for years ago to put former players in there because they "understand the game better" than referees.

This game is Bryan Norrie who was a storm player?? no bias there

It's 1967 all over again when they changed the rules to halt St George's 11-year dominance.
