That would have been the case regardless of Covid. That's just how the draw went. It's not like we got to play many at home though. If you want to cry about home ground advantage take it to the Parra forum.

In a normal world you would have played 6 away. So only 2 games you have been put out.

You're welcome

Let's start with 50% of games, vs 92%
And you can miss me entirely with this Penrith vs Parramatta arguement
I spent 22 years of my life in Penrith, i know that shit doesnt matter

I lived in St Clair, Werrington and Blacktown and travelled all over the West. You guys having to play out of BankWest aint shit. And you know it.

Our home games were Campbeltown, not Bankwest. Still not a whinge by the way, just correcting for accuracy.

look, we can go back and forth and say canberra fans are wrong or say we’re right but it is irrelevant. you’re legit playing the ladder leaders and your coach comes out and says some dumb shit which is just gonna piss off kikau and crichton. they’re attacking Curtis Scott’s side for god sake. Why would you f***ing do that to yourselves.

And to be clear, none of this has ever been used as excuse by the raiders and it wont be this week either.
The panthers are a bloody good team who will beat us if we're not at our best... and they'll be motivated to do so given we exposed them last year as total and utter pretenders

I dont think the panthers can beat us at our best but without Hodgson we cant reach those heights. This will be a good game. I can see it going any which way.

ah yes, that game last year where Ivan whinged to the refs at half time

So you went 20-30 minutes south instead of east
Again, pointing out the huge disparity in travel arrangements this year between our club and clubs like yours is a fair and valid thing for our club to raise

you’re kidding yourself if you think the panthers wouldn’t be saying the same thing if they had been on the road all year playing a raiders team who had only left Canberra once in 13 weeks

Sorry but I don't see the logic of playing a Panthers home game in Kambra.

not many saw any logic in us playing home game in Campbelltown either but that’s just how it goes. This competition is built on parity, forcing Penrith to take a trip more than 30 minutes to a game for the second time and sparing the raiders more travel given their level of travel would have been a very fair trade

But it is what it is. I just get tired of the howls from opposition fans because the Raiders are finally a club willing to stand up for themselves.
This will be a banger game. Im very nervous about Kikau and Crighton against Scott, he played well last week but the opposition wasnt that strong.
I think if Scott defends well and gets back to the sort of player he can be defensively, the Raiders will have a good shot at winning. Expecting a close game either way

I agree with you 100% that it has sucked for you guys along with the other regional teams. I also agree we have had a favourable draw regarding travel, that was the case though even pre covid. Without covid we still would have only left Sydney once at this point. Next week we would have been off to NZ &now it's Gosford. We then have a trip to Townsville & Brisbane in the last few rounds. The only thing that has changed for us is the NZ trip. Lucky? f**k yeah. Historically we dont get kissed on the dick very often, so probably why I've been defensive when we finally seem to be getting it balls deep.

The thing that would be the hardest part travel wise for you guys is the short turnarounds. Not staying overnight would be an absolute punish. We will get our taste of that, it just hasn't rolled around yet.

I live in Canberra and the whinge from their fans this year is strangely out-of-the-norm. I've been here 16 years and it's never been this bad before. Not sure what's going on....

Nathan Cleary had dally M points deducted cause of the ticktock naughty videos suspension :)
The DT can't having him beating their favourite new boy Harry Grant. All of a sudden, before we play Canberra, they dock him those points instead of informing him on the day of his return from his time off.
