Nathan is playing well so far.

Had a very decent first half, but with the forwards getting smashed in the second he wasn't able to do much about it, not for lack of trying. He's used to playing behind a strong forward pack.

It is a game of possession. NSW ball in 2nd half in poor field position, as a half darn near impossible when getting the ball well inside your own half.

No repeat sets until just before AC scored late in the 2nd half.

But to rate Cleary as Luke Walsh is darn near abuse.........

Githerson and Wrighton are not well placed in the centres. I believe Wrighton missed 8 tackles.

Mate get your hand off it. Luke Walsh refused to get tackled. Wouldn't put his body on the line to make a tackle and played in one finals series in his entire NRL career. I don't recall him ever going near a Dally M medal. Or being remotely close to the best 7 in the game at any point in a season

Cleary so far has only missed one finals series scored 4 tries in the most recent finals series and he never stopped putting his body on the line.

He got more ball then previous years but Luai did more with the ball he got

1500 possessions for Cleary. 73 a game from that 51 try involvements. So his stats look better but he has more ball to do that.

Luai on the other hand had 41 try involvements from 1003 possessions. Didn't need May to go to centre on his side to help the attack

This is in a comp that was the weakest I have seen for a while.

Don’t think we should tear our hair out, Cleary & Luai is still a very nice combo. I do think Luai needs a little more ball, and Cleary needs to run the ball more often.

I prefer halves to be more than just putting their bodies on the line.

lets look at those 4 tries.
1 was from Edwards picking up a lose ball.

2 set up by Luai

The last one against 11 players in the final minute when the game was over.

How many repeat sets or 40/20's were kicked in the same final series? He chokes in the big games pure and simple
