The main concern if Sauce goes is who will replace Staines when his jaw locks up & his hamstrings snap in round 1.

two minds for me... good they told him early, but still think another week to let water pass under the bridge and the team get a chance to emotionally digest the GF loss... 48 hours is a bit tough, but as he said, it is a business. I hope he stays and proves them wrong for 2021!

A bit worried about our loss of experienced players which must have helped us throughout the season.. though, in saying that, after we lost Jimmy last year I thought we were a few years away from a GF, but was proved wrong.

Well that's a terrible way to treat a guy like Mansour. Once this become mainstream the club will be getting a lot of heat from fans.
The fact that they publicized the decision straight away sent a message in itself. He's getting aggressively pushed out. Why was he treated this way and not Whare? Of the two, Sauce has contributed more and deserves respect. Mustn't be a mate of Dave or Ivan.

I think the timing is to give him the best chance of sorting his future.

I think whare has 2 more years to go Mansour only 1 .No club will want whare given his injuries .Mansour is a leading winger .But he is not one of the junior crew so is seen as expendable

That is such a hyporcritical comment.

If Staines had left because Sauce was still on the wing, you would have had smoke comming out of your ears......

Sauce is now 30. He lacks the speed of Staines, struggles in the air etc........

Sadly he is the future.

I was talking sentiment over common sense more from what the public reaction will likely be.

My personal opinion is that the club is doing right by him to let him know early so he can prepare for the future. Out of him and Whare he's most likely to attract offers and deserves that chance. I also think Staines will be better for us in 2021 than Mansour.
