Yep jobs for da boys!!! Keep all the good blokes f**k logic and professionalism.

Losing a 30 year old slow midget winger with very regular brain snaps isn't a bad thing
Why not? We have Dave's mate coaching again. Now that Barrett has gone, watch the team nosedive...

Does anyone really think that the club would have signed Charlie and dumped Sauce if they thought that Charlie’s injuries would be a problem moving forward?

I think that the doctors and coaching staff are in a better position to make that call.
Honestly thats what happens when thrashing a Ferrari

Delusional, seriously he is a winger, we dropped DWZ a few years back, and he carried on .....all the way to the dogs.
Josh is a great guy, great clubman, but seriously if we keep this up, we wont get to blood any juniors and get back to finals contention with 30yr old slow wingers, and if your gonna be slow, you better be breaking tackles from the back field
Don't call me delusional, you need to read what is being said before having a go at people and start name calling. I don't disagree with what has been said, my comment was in relation to Gold Coasts post saying we need to make it up to him because of how it went down. I was alluding to the fact he deserves better in respect to farewelling him. As Gold Coast said; we need to make it up to him, he at least deserves to be thanked respectfully for his 9 years of loyalty to this club.

Sorry i was replying to gold coasts post, not meant for you.. but seriously the club owes him nothing, really he wouldnt of had a club to go to to get to 1st grade without the panthers, the fact that he is now standing in someone elses way (staines) is very hypocritical, since he could never get ahead of the guys at soufffs

It's not even one single player. $460k is 2 decent players. I'd guess Eisenhuth and Rennings are on less than that combined.

Key going forward is the bottom tier of players better

Mmmmm....how many minutes did he play this year in NRL and how many weeks was he out injured?

Good teams need minimal coaching. Barrett is good with defence and fitness. Lets players do their thing on the field. Luai will be the key to ablib footy

Need to give him a start tho, this year isn't a barometer for charlie, next year will be, same as Romy, you can't say he did not deserve to be our 1st choice 5/8th, until you give them the top job to loose, then you can call out his injuries.
Romys stints off the bench was minimal and you can't really use them to compare his efforts on a full season in his proper position.
Id be giving staines the benefit of the doubt.
A full off season, get a bit of muscle, then hand him the job, and then see how injuries goes, if he doesn't aim up, Naden can go there fulltime, Whare, Capewell can cover centres

Sauce seems to have been one of our greatest ever Clubmen. Panthers leadership have to make this up to him in some way and heal the damage done. I am ashamed we have handled this so badly.

can someone anyone explain how it was handled badly? what specifically did the club do that was disrespectful or wrong? I'd love to know?

Last year was an rare occurance. No match fitness saw lots of guys get injuries. The side going so well made changes hard.

Not just him though. If Naden is seen as a winger instead of a centre he now has a spot in the starting team

The club owes him plenty. Yes they gave him his break but he paid that back ten fold by rejecting larger offers to be loyal to the club because he loved the place. The players also love him, this will impact on the group. I agree with Gold Coast, I also feel embarrassed of how this has been handled.

There is no right way of doing it. He will sign a 3 year deal (If he gets his way- if not 2 years) with WT this week so all will work out for him. Same wouldn't be if we waited to tell him

Now you're delousional,
.....went for unders.. my arse!
Again no one wanted him, plus he wanted to stay... all great but seriously we carried him this whole year, if we had naden on the wings we would have had more pace than mansauce could give.
I get everyone is torn about mansour, but we want to win GFs.. don't we,?, and we have the junior stocks and depth to do it, we can't be carrying old wingers, not for the money he was on, i get the experience factor, but i think thats not nessesary now with the bulk of the squad being minor premiers and needing upgrades along with rookies getting a go

The club gave Mansour a chance. The club owes him nothing.

I dont think the club did anything wrong necessarily. This is a business. It still hurts to watch though.

He was a gun. One of the best wingers in the comp and he stayed with us on unders because he loved the place. He wanted to be a career Panther and he's hurting that thats not going to happen.

He's still a good player. Makes f**k loads of meters, defends well on the ground and has developed a decent nose for a try. Can't believe anyone here would be anything but understanding of his frustration and wish him the very best either here or somewhere else.
